A young, skinny cop in jail on a double murder? I’m sure he’ll have quite a few takers in jail… As long as he is sentenced for as long as he should be (once officially found guilty) then I’m sure he’ll feel the full force of our prison system.
It does sound like there was some struggle in the whole event, the upturned furniture and blood everywhere. Sounds like they tried to put up a fight.
He didn’t do a good job if that’s the case. Surely he knew, firing his weapon, he just left the biggest evidence trail.

This is so close to the bone for me- went past the Paddo house on Friday and saw the crime tape and a police escort but had only heard about the missing couple briefly on the news that morning so when I googled the address out of curiosity and saw it was *the* house I got chills. Had been in Bondi earlier that day and drink in the Beresford (where they were last seen).
It’s cast a very big and somber shadow over the communities (both queer and the area) especially with Mardi Gras and all the joy and love that comes with, coming up.
Of all the tragedies I’ve read here in the last 4 years.. one never really expects something like this to happen right on the doorstep. Huge love to fellow Aussies on this thread feeling this heavily
Yes, we all know one of the most dangerous times to know a narcissist is when leaving them and slighting/threatening their very shaky sense of identity. Add to this Lamarre’s more overt and shameless displays of levels of obsession and stalking with celebrities, and then his position of power as a LEO with all the extra accesses that entails.. all murders of innocents are senseless but poor Jesse who just wanted to move on from what must have been a very unpleasant experience all round with BL, and his beautiful boyfriend who did nothing wrong but make him happy..

Wondering if one of the victims discharged the weapon, implicating him at the last minute. He may not have intended to use the firearm, he may have just been using it to intimidate while he had it on him?
Would be very interested to find out. He definitely seems the narcissistic kind, and before that pics linked above I’d never seen him looking any bigger than stick thin, but if he had gained a lot of weight/muscle then that may explain how he could (theoretically) overpower the two victims, who themselves looked quite fit, and then move the bodies. I have been wondering since we first saw the accused how he was able to move two bodies on his own when he looked quite thin.
Actually, on reflection I think up there might be something in him choosing that property (his choices probably would have been a bit of a panic, IMO) and not pinning it on the owner but having knowledge about how likely someone is to access it. And gosh, he seems so entitled to other people’s property (the farm, Jesse’s) AND personal space (the excessive celebrity selfies).
