Bayley unlikely to receive life without parole

While Bayley has been found guilty of more than 20 rape and assault offences and has repeatedly offended while on parole, it is believed there are concerns that sentencing him to life without parole could set a precedent that would discourage future serious offenders from pleading guilty.
