A vehicle matching the description of Ms Ristevski’s was today driven by missing persons squad detectives for “testing”, reportedly along the route it was believed to have taken on June 29 last year.
“As part of their investigation, detectives were out today in the Avondale Heights and Watergardens areas where testing of a vehicle was conducted,” a Victoria Police spokesperson told news.com.au.

Police have today driven the luxury car of Melbourne woman Karen Ristevski as part of investigations into her murder.

Video obtained by 9NEWS showed detectives driving Ms Ristevski’s car from her Avondale Heights home towards the Calder Freeway, before moving onto the Melton Highway.

It is understood they were following a route the Mercedes took between her home to the Watergardens Shopping Centre, where she and her husband Borce owned a business.................


Police have previously identified Mr Ristevski as a suspect. He has always denied any wrongdoing.

This report is stating this is Karen's car the detectives drove today. Last reenactment was a similar car.

It is weird. Isn't it.
The similar car the other day, yellow taped.
Almost as though there are twin cars the only difference the plates.

It's ok, found what I was trying to remember...

Police have also taken CCTV footage from a Chemist Warehouse and a TAB in Milleara Rd.
But it is understood that this footage had failed to capture any vision of Mrs Ristevski or of her car.

POLICE have today been performing tests on the vehicle which belonged to murdered woman Karen Ristevski around Melbourne.

Investigators have been seen driving the black Mercedes for the second time this week.

Ms Ristevski’s Mercedes is a crucial piece of evidence as a similar vehicle — and possibly the actual Ristevski car — was seen at Diggers Rest and Mt Macedon on the day she disappeared.

maybe Borce is trying to tell the story that he turned the phone off here, and then drove to here, and then there, then turned around back to here, then he turned the phone back on, and the police are retracing the journey for mileage and timing.... naturally, he just remembered this.......

Found the photo from last re-enactment, does that plate look like it ends in 7?
If so, different to today's car.

because it is logical to assume that whoever killed Karen, killed her at her home, and then moved her from her home that day.. hard to credit that Karen's body was left in her home for any lengthy period of time, hours, or even a day and a night...no... that seems improbable, , yet it would be really spooky if both Borce and Karen's killer, driving identical Merc coupes were tooling around the Calder Freeway, exiting at Toolern Vale !! turning on to the Melton cutoff, and onto the Great Western highway!!.. astonishing!!... what wretched bad luck!!!

I think this is all at watergardens shopping centre . Will check views from Calder freeway entrance . There's a chemist on that side .
