Going back to the financial side of things. Is there any information to reveal who secured the business loans that failed.

I read "The Murder of Allison Baden-Clay" (which was bloody FANTASTIC BTW) - and he studied the facial expressions, etc, of GBC during interviews. Borce's - are damn near identical - the frowning, the gestures. Everything here screams "we've seen this before". "Oh she went out for a walk" - even the excuse is the same."We've been having financial difficulties". Phones turned off on day of disappearance for no particular reason - I feel like I'm watching a murder re-run.

Forensics couldn't be that hopeless as to miss another body at grave site, but oh boy, it does look like a skull, very spooky indeed!

At the scene during the past two days, witnesses spoke of odd sightings in the area. A couple told police they had previously seen a man with a shovel, and made a joke to him about burying a body and were met with a stony look.

If that person had been either Borce or Vasko, surely the residents would have told the police, having seen their pictures on tv/papers. So that person with the shovel wouldn't be either of them.

I wonder if that was the person that disposed of Karen. That would be an utterly bizarre coincidence.

I can't believe these developments. It seems as if closure is only days away.

If AR is somehow involved it'll be the most spectacular development.

and how unlucky could Borce be.. on the very day his wife goes missing, his phone is down for 2 hours, plus.. he takes her car for a drive over bumps , and oddly forgets he did so for months.. but wait,, not only this, he takes her car for the bumps ride ( his mobile phone pinging away ) in the very same direction his missing wife 's phone is pinging,,,.

and there is more, because when the decomposing body of his wife is found, it is right there where her phone was pinging, in the same direction his driving of her car was ( on the same day ! ) which means he was driving his wife's car on the same road in the same direction on the same day that someone was freighting his wife's dead body ! coincidence?... you choose!.

One thing that i find a little baffling is that it seems as if police didn't doorknock that Macedon area and just sniff around and generally sound-out the residents. It wouldn't have taken much to send some detectives/cops into the area and just doorknock around and ask the locals if they saw anything, maybe even do a letter-drop in the local area asking people to phone in for tips. i.e. did you see anyone sus, like, carrying a shovel lately? LOL

I think it's disappointing that they were draining dams closer in to the city, yet only a bit further out people were seeing blokes carrying shovels when apparently going for leisurely bushwalks (like, WTF), and odd vans out of place. mate, the cops could have fished this info out ages ago. This is disappointing if you ask me. Those locals would have been watching this case on tv as we all were, but they must have been thinking they were too far out to be the place were Karen was, which is why the cops should have been around there.

i'm not certain, however, that the cops didn't go that far out, but i can't remember them being in the macedon ranges. but i think people in this forum were discussing distances and projecting possibilities. thanks for those efforts, even if i couldn't really sensibly follow them because i don't know the area, good work by you guys. *pats you on the back* hehe

Hi Puggle it came from the husbands wife. Husband saw the van and 3 people, he rendered help as it was bogged which was refused. The next time they walked the trail there empty lime sacks which is when they notified crime stoppers.

Was this reported in the news or was this a story someone overheard from someone? ....The only witness to anything happening near the recovery site that I have heard memtioned in the news is the guy who saw some bloke with a shovel...

Just trying to sort out rumour .... and what has actually been reported..

Borce will stick with the stranger theory, meanwhile Police are working away.

Even though Karen's body has been found, can Police place Borce there or another family member.

Was the lime and the sighting of the van movement of the body not the initial occurrence.

Who carried this out and whether other persons were used.

I still haven't been able to find anything that says where SR was the night before or the morning of KR's disappearance. Not saying she's involved, just weird that her whereabouts at those times have not been made public? The only thing I recall is that on radio interview she said that BR had told her that KR "went ballistic" over the shop sale...
Anyone got any more info on where she was-or said she was?

Except Borce explained his reason for taking Karen's car was that he wanted to go over bumps and fix the faulty gauge.

Just drove past the house. Instant sick feeling in my stomach. Sarah's car is there as well as another small car. Tons of media everywhere was very hard to drive past with all the media around.

How did he escape that throng? Meanwhile Borce attends his city lawyers, all alone. Where's his supporters?
