I have a feeling that we won't be hearing much more about sweet Kiesha until an arrest is made.
2 days now with virtually no news at all.

OMG! It was the psychic searching for Kiesha who found the womans body in Doonside. (article says 'torso' and they are now searching for the other body parts. Eeeeek!)

Another link about the psychic:

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/br...ed-to-torso-find/story-e6frf7jx-1225904456912

The woman told police she had a feeling she would find something of interest in the area, but had actually thought it would relate to six-year-old Kiesha's disappearance.

"Well, it's quite interesting that there's a woman and she had a sense or feeling it was worth her while to come to this particular part of the park," Detective Chief Inspector Pamela Young from the Homicide Squad told reporters at the scene today.

"We're still exploring that, it's certainly an interesting proposition of hers."

The woman believed she had special powers that helped her find the body, Inspector Young said.

Now you gotta admit that is pretty freaky.....what are the odds of going to an area to look for one body and finding another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I've been on websleuths I keep telling my poor husband (who gets to hear of all these cases...poor beggar) that Truth really is stranger than fiction...

Agree. It will be interesting to see if the Police need a body to make an arrest/arrests and if indeed anyone is arrested. I hope for all concerned this doesn't become an unresolved missing persons case.

It gave me a start to read "body found," then I was relieved to learn that it wasn't Kiesha's. Still, it is somebody's, and that too is sad. :( Very interesting about the psychic. On one case I've been following here at WS, some of the people posting to a missing child's thread were getting some distinct images they believed were related to the case we were all following, and just a few days later, the images made a good deal of sense as connected to a different missing child case which hadn't yet occurred at the time of their reporting. So, it does seem that psychic signals can be valid but "crossed" at times, perhaps, which makes sense of what may have happened with this woman who found the body.

I'm very relieved it's not Kiesha, but truly, I hope they do find her. I, like of you (I'm sure!) would simply prefer they find her alive!

Thank you to of our Australian friends for keeping us so well up-to-date!

LOL, my poor hubby cops the same.

Re the Aboriginal Elder im really impressed. Intuition, premonition, a feeling or whatever you want to call it eventuated into something. Cool.

It is very sad that a body was found and like you I pray for Kieshas safe return, it isn't completely out of the question unless and until we learn otherwise.

I've read examples of crossed psychic signals too, find it amazing what some people are capable of. I was pleased in the case of Kiesha to learn the lady was an aboriginal elder and intrigued at the same time because I believe Indigenous people have a belonging/connection to this land that goes beyond 'the norm'.

Agreed, very freaky. I think the police will investigate her a bit because they seem so dumbfounded by it, then probably put her on the payroll.

Hope they give her something of Kieshas, or do anything else she needs in an effort to get some psychic signals to find Kiesha...hopefully safe and sound somewhere.

The pic of the psychic wasn't what I was expecting after hearing it was an aboriginal elder. She looks more like a regular psychic than the ones who do the tracking...which is also freaky and amazing.

And how wonderful that she has brought some closure to another family who's loved one was missing. Now this victim will be able to rest in peace, thanks to Carroll-Lagerway.

More info on psychic and connection to Kiesha:
~snip~

Ms Carroll-Lagerwey was unable to explain what led to the find, except that it was "Aboriginal dreaming".

"I had a dream about a little girl being murdered and that her body was about here," she said.

Ms Carroll-Lagerwey and fellow community member Paul Tearman have spent the past 12 days supporting Kiesha's mother Kristi Abrahams since her child was reported missing. When they are not comforting the little girl's family, the pair spend hours searching through Nurragingy Reserve.

Is this the same aboriginal elder who said that they had a close relationship with Kiesha's family earlier on? I really want to know if Ms Carroll-Lagerwey or Paul Tearman had a relationship with the family prior Kiesha going missing.
It's definately weird, freaky and just a little suspicious now.

ETA:
Interesting....(BBM)
Ms Marshall also complains that Ms Abrahams was misrepresented in a television interview arranged through the assistance of Paul Teerman, an Aboriginal liaison officer at Penrith court and an acquaintance of Ms Abrahams's family.

From nursebeemes link back on page 5 of the thread : http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/little-girl-lost-and-a-city-searches-for-answers-20100806-11oii.html

The Aboriginal woman had been trying to find Kiesha Abrahams, who disappeared from her suburban Sydney home almost two weeks ago, when she came across the headless, limbless body Wednesday along a creek in a nature preserve west of the city, said New South Wales state Detective Chief Inspector Pamela Young.

Young said police were still investigating the circumstances that led Carroll-Lagerwey to the remains.

"For those who believe in such things, I understand the woman thinks she might have some (psychic) powers," Young said. "There was a thought in her mind, apparently, that her coming here might help that particular case, but it hasn't. It's quite unusual circumstances that has brought us here that she would think that initially and then actually find a body."

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38685456

Asked about her personal views, Chief Inspector Young said: 'I have certain strong feelings about people who claim they are psychic. I don't think it will help if we enter a discussion on that.'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/wor...finds-headless-torso-adult-woman-instead.html

Cheryl Carroll-Lagerwey, the Aboriginal elder, said she was not psychic but had a third sense that she could lead police to the body of Kiesha Abrahams.

"I can't explain this," she told local media. "I had a dream about a little girl being murdered and that her body was about here."

Lets hope her 'third sense' leads her to Kiesha.

Another no news day for Kiesha.

But I was going back over somme of the articles from this week, and this caught my eye:

A DRAMATIC second raid was made on the home of missing girl Kiesha Abrahams yesterday after police received fresh allegations.

Police would not elaborate on what new information they had received, other than to say it was "significant to the case".

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...ha-abrahams-home/story-e6freuzi-1225903168853

Now if it was in regard to the witness seeing Kiesha attacked in the car, they would likely seize the car, not search the home.
So it looks like someone must be talking and the police have a good idea of what happened to Kiesha. I hope so anyway.

Anyone up for some brainstorming about the items seized from the home?

1. Computer
2. Vacuum
3. DoorS
4. Carpet
5. Mattress
6. Skirting boards
7.Computer table
8. 20 bags of evidence

Please feel free to add to the list if I've overlooked anything.

This is pure speculation and theory in an effort to figure out what evidence LE has and why they want it.

Computer is obvious in detailing any communications, google searches etc.

Vacuum is obvious in finding any trace evidence that may have been cleaned up.

Doors- Now this is interesting. Normally, for the front door they would just take prints and look for any visible signs of someone breaking in to the unit. But it seems like they took more than one door. Wonder if it was Kiesha's bedroom door and if they are looking for evidence of her being locked in there, considering she was rarely seen?

Carpet - Again trace evidence, looking for blood stains, bodily fluids etc. But I'd really like to know which area of the unit the carpet was removed from.
My bet is on kieshas room. (I've got a theory developing here in case you hadn't caught on.)

Mattress- Was a single so likely to be Kieshas. What could be of interest in the mattress? Bedwetting, or other bodily fluids?
In one of the videos, I noticed long items wrapped in brown paper being put into the police vehcile. Wonder if they took the whole bed, or just the mattress?

Skirting boards- no idea, but again I question which area of the unit the skirting boards were removed from.

Computer table- no idea.

20 bags of evidence- could be just about anything

Timeline:
Kiesha was seen by family around the time of her baby brothers birth 3 1/2 weeks ago. We have a picture of her in the hospital that confirms this.

Sources say the last time she was seen prior to that was around mothers day in May by other family members.

Questions:

Why are we not hearing people come forward to say they saw Kiesha playing in the park right next to her home, at the local shops or anywhere else? It's a well built area, with loads of people, so how is it that we have only two people coming forward to say that they saw her in this time frame?

Stepdad works at woolworths. I'd really love to know if he worked the day or night shift. Because when Kristi would visit the salon, she was alone, according to the husband of the hairdresser I spoke to. So was stepdad or someone else looking after kiesha and her sibling? Surely if a friend was babysitting for them, they would have said so by now.

Thoughts?

For what its worth butwhatif? ;

1. Computer - Any and all kinds of relevant information that gives a profile of its users and what goes on in their lives, looking for the use of google maps in relation to the whereabouts of a possible dumpsite, email correspondence that may have mentioned Kiesha and helped determine a timeline, that type of thing
2. Vacuum - fibres, hairs, anything indicative of a crime scene
3. DoorS - too see if blood was absorbed into the timber perhaps?
4. Carpet - blood?
5. Mattress - blood or body fluids, possibly even dna
6. Skirting boards - same as doors
7.Computer table - possibly checking for body fluids pertaining to watching something inappropriate / illegal on the computer, no idea really
8. 20 bags of evidence - could be linen, clothing, possible murder weapons / paraphenalia

Good spotting re the beanie and being rugged up. Also, there was a mention about Kristi taking the new baby for a visit to a neighbours and no other children were present so yes it would be nice to know who minded the kids when Mum wasn't.

I think she was last seen three and 1/2 weeks ago, not three and 1/2 months.
