The post from the X-Boyfriend was actually on his personal Face Book Page. I took a Screen Shot of it on my iPhone just invade he removed it and he also makes mention that he is the X-Boyfriend that others had made reference to.
I will put info up on my FB page so you all know that I am 100% accurate and not spinning any stories.

I do however believe very much so that the Police know exactly what they are doing however I do agree that they do need to invest in having trained personnel that can deal face to face with frantic relatives and treat them with care and dignity - as the police are quite aware that the relatives are only concerned with their own dramas so in having that foresight and then treating family like "Mad People" is only deliberately adding insult to injury...

Lessons to be learned... While leaving no stone unturned...

Any info about the property that was searched?

There's an article today from the Daily Telegraph which says several items were seized following the search at this property. Sorry can't post a link from this, but google Leisl Smith and it should come up.

Hello Everyone,

<modsnip>

I really do believe that justice will prevail for Leisl however it is a waiting game. I feel for her family and friends.

Kindest Regards,

Hi All,

I think it was today's Newcastle Herald that had a new article on Leisl Smith with some very interesting issues.

http://www.theherald.com.au/story/1539849/police-investigate-fifth-site-in-murder-case/?cs=12

Interesting article I.K. It must be very frustrating for detectives dealing with people they believe to be withholding important facts.

With situations like this I kind of wish ''truth serum'' (if such a thing exists) could just be administered to these so called 'persons of interest!' I think they used to call it sodium pentethol but I'm not sure if it was ever used anywhere other than on Get Smart. Sure could save a lot of fuss though.

Yes my friends, there is a lot of information that hasn't come out but I hope and pray that the ones holding back details because they are control freaks then I hope the truth turns on them.

Leave no stone unturned...... Being the voice of the silenced!!!!

Thanks for the new article IK.

Sounds as though the police are trying to encourage someone to talk by releasing this new info. Let's hope it will change the perspective of someone who is withholding helpful information.

If there is any truth to the claim in the article posted by IK, I can definitely understand why she would have taken off. I can say I would have done the exact same thing. Regardless of the reason behind her disappearance, I hope for resolution and closure for her family... Still praying for her safe return.

I'm not following - she would have taken off if she was pregnant?? She was 23 years old, it is far from being a major scandal ...

So the article is saying they're investigating whether pregnancy could have been a motive for a suspected murder. And now reporting they were 'well known to each other'.

So reading between the lines: he wasn't the father and jealousy and rage a possible motive. Or, he was married or in another committed relationship and feared being exposed.

Oller, can you elaborate on what you mean here? Like ozazure I'm not too sure why being pregnant would alone be reason to take off. I can understand it might be seen as shameful in certain cultures / religions but it's pretty common these days. Can you clarify this point a little?

The later would make the text message make sense. I would like to know if he is currently in a relationship or recently out of one........

Praying the police find the information they need.

By the later I mean if he was married or in another committed relationship and feared being exposed as HAL9000 suggested. This might also be a reason to want to take off if he was threatening her.

I've been thinking of Liesel all day today... I'm wondering if she's off droving somewhere? it would be a suitable job for someone wanting to remain hidden.

Humdinger, I understand your sentiment that a horse lover would go off droving. How could she be employed without her tax file number being registered. The next thought she is working cash in hand. If she wanted to get away and work for cash, why not sell her car beforehand? Have they released the CCTV pictures of her at the train station yet?

If the first text message her dad received was about her pregnancy ' .. I can't do this and I'm not going to keep your secret any more', then it sounds to me as though Leisl had decided to continue with her pregnancy and not hide it. In which case, I'm not sure that she would run and hide away somewhere else.

I don't think the police would have mentioned a possible pregnancy unless they were pretty sure it was relevant.

That first message to me sounds like someone was trying to keep her quiet about a pregnancy. Possibly a high profile or married person.

I think she was intending to come home all along, but was stopped. She may have been stopped by the father, a current boyfriend or a disgruntled wife.

Don't they say that you're most at risk while pregnant? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

I've never heard the police say that they believe a missing person has been murdered without significant evidence.

Out in the bush there's always work for cash, you could easily hide. I'm not entirely convinced this is the case, I guess it was more for me to be able to remain positive, I could picture her out droving.

I completely understand and agree with your comments.

I just hope she is infact alive and well somewhere! I'd love to know why the police are so sure that she is deceased...

Yes, I would agree. I.K
