Setting up a family trust would cost a couple of hundred plus $200 stamp duty on the deed. What a waste of money if he doesn’t use it. Same with the cost of all the name changes and drivers licences and security boxes/packets. For someone on a pension he sure likes wasting money!

Let's sum up,
He was getting 2 pensions + 1 carer pension for his wife (3 in total)
He was getting inheritance money every time he travelled home (by his mother)
He was getting money from sales of stocks/shares (he mentions 20k)
He was selling coins at Paris auctions
He got 80k by selling a house in Tasmania

Every time he travelled overseas, his fam gave him money.
He would carry the cash with him into Aus, sometimes to the tune of au$20k.
Casselden asked why not transfer it electronically, it safer than lugging it around?
RB says he did not want to pay the conversion and admin fees
