Casselden is now asking, 'what where you doing with the money you carried into Aus?'. RB said that only ONCE he put it in a security envelop / safe deposit box at CBA. All the other times, he put it in a safe at home.

For those reading from work. RB is losing control of the situation. The questions are getting tough. RB can't keep a story straight. He rambles and backtracks. He keeps providing excuses and info that wasn't asked for. I detect panic. IMO.

Every time he travelled overseas, his fam gave him money.
He would carry the cash with him into Aus, sometimes to the tune of au$20k.
Casselden asked why not transfer it electronically, it safer than lugging it around?
RB says he did not want to pay the conversion and admin fees

Dumb American here, but I don't understand how he isn't paying the conversion rate. If he is being given AUS $ overseas, someone already paid the conversion. If he carries overseas money, he has to convert it to use it, right?

He’s being given the local overseas currency. He has to convert it before entering Australia so he isn’t questioned about his oversea income… I mean… Uh because he gets a better conversion rate overseas.

Maybe not about trust, but if it’s in the bank there will be a record and it will effect his pensions. If he has it in cash then no one knows!

Yes, Casselden did ask. So RB meandered a bit on whether it was Euros or Aussie dollars and finally settled on that he was bringing Au$ into the country as he would convert the cash in Bruges or Brussels first? Honestly none of it makes sense. None of it is coherent. He is literally just coming up with rubbish in the moment and lying by the seat of his pants.

I think more people love coffee than they do tea these days I'm in Australia.

Love my flat whites. I used to like Cappuccino but often ended up with mostly froth and no liquid, so I changed to Flat Whites

I have rediscovered tea lately. I couldn't drink it for years due to it's lack of that real tea flavour, but have discovered some Twinings ones which I'm enjoying. I recently stocked up on several varieties when they were half price.
