I'm reading now that Tiah tried to stay over at the relative of a schoolfriend 6 days before her murder. The woman called Child Safety to tell them that Tiah was afraid to go back to the foster house and the case worker dismissed it as "stories".

Julene then picked her up. The woman confronted her and Julene told her that Tiah lies all the time.

Tiah's former foster carer also contacted Child Safety as she knew Tiah had been running away, and that she had been complaining as early as 2 weeks into the placement, but nothing was done even though she said she would take her back.

This is a whole other level of evil. I can't get my head around how messed up this is. All I can think of is the "hiding in plain sight" thing. Make yourself so prominent, be so brazen that you won't be suspected.

it is a hell of a puzzle, as the Thorburns were new, inexperienced foster carers... this was only their second shot at it, yet no notice is taken of an experienced foster carer, her mother, the child herself. what the bleep bleep is going on here? .. what was so wonderful about the Thorburns in the eyes of the FS of Q that enabled them to dismiss each and every negative howl from people who had, at the very least , earned their stripes in the foster caring business.

Yep, and I'm wondering if Child Safety alerted Julene as to where she was hiding out. It's not clear but I think that's what happened.

I get the gut feeling that if the foster dad was harming her, she was too scared to tell anyone specifically about that, only talked about the son.

after seeing those pics of life after Tia's murder in reference to Trent, I truly believe that both Rick and Trent murdered Tia. As a team. Together. And together, took her body to the Pimpano River bank. This yarn about doing it to protect the son is knocked on it's knees once you look at Trent 'celibating' life post murder. This is a weird and peculiar family, of a particularly insouciant outlook. . They played the part of mildly mourning fosterfamily to perfection. ...

The property is listed with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and rented @ $450.00 per week.
On another site it says 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms!

IMO it looks like an ensuite for the main bedroom and the other bathroom was shared by 3-4 people.
Again IMO this is inappropriate for a fostered girl to have to share a bathroom with so many other males.

Because Tiahleigh was semi-clothed I'm thinking someone barged into the bathroom or her bedroom and confronted her, she couldn't run and left vulnerable.

Queensland police initially missed an alleged online admission by the foster brother of Tiahleigh Palmer that he had sex with the schoolgirl, days before she was allegedly murdered by his father late last year.

Police yesterday detailed when they had possession of the alleged piece of critical evidence, amid questions over the Thorburns running a government-approved child*care facility at their home for almost six months after Tiahleigh’s killing. Queensland Child Safety Minister Shannon Fentiman said this week that the day*care business, south of Brisbane, was only forced to shut down in April after the government was told of “alleged criminal activity’’.

my god this little **** of a bloke is in love with himself.. somewhere, there are pictures of Tia, taken without her permission, I am convinced of it, as much as I am now utterly convinced that both Rick and Trent murdered Tia, together as a joint enterprise. ... and this is why the mother and the brother made the false illegal statements that have got them into so much strife.... they were leant on by both Rick and Trent.. no wonder the mother caved in on this. her husband and son. . why the brother went along with it, I am putting that down to fear of losing some sort of security, him being unable to work, ....I look at that Instagram account and it is a so horrifying in the light of what is now known... ... it is .. well. it's .. indescribable..

It does look similar, but it's tagged as someone else. I think that girl (the pic is from Oct 2014) looks too developed to be her, she would have only been 11 at the time...
