I agree Ox Jen
I also do not understand how that recording was able to be posted on social media with seemingly no consequences.
I just don't get it.
It is a second violation of poor Rrie's family. They have all been dehumanised.

With respect, I suggest his behaviour immediately after Warriena fell is greatly significant. He was not the one to call 000, he left that to others, even though he was the first to see what had happened. He phoned his lawyer instead.

He saw she was no longer on the balcony. Not sure if he called the Lawyer before or after he saw that first responders were already there. Too many unanswered questions about it all, and that is what presents the Jury with a serious dilemma, given it may not speculate, as is okay here. It can only come to a conclusion on any fact beyond reasonable doubt, and that excludes speculation.

I am now assuming that they are in a hotel and can't go home. I know a news service said they would deliver the verdict live, but wouldn't this happen in working hours? I now understand from the above post. Poor things, listening to that tape over and over. I miss Trooper.

In Queensland, juries are rarely sequestered anymore. I imagine they will be free to return home each night.

I don't understand why the Judge directed that Gable's behaviour after the event is to be ignored by the Jury? It wasn't considered irrelevant in the Baden Clay case.

I strongly suspect this formed the basis of at least some of the legal argument this morning so I'm a bit reluctant to comment, no doubt we will hear more about it once the jury has returned their verdict.

Not just his behaviour, the conversations with his dad too, it doesn't make sense to leave any of that out

One part that's sticking in my mind is when his dad asked him if he wanted to go to hospital for shock, GT declined and his father accepted that, his dad who would know better than anyone if his son was in shock or not, he obviously wasn't that concerned

My point was that he did not call 000 immediately.

He called the lawyer 50 seconds after she fell, our first responders are good, but not that good surely to reach a scene in under a minute

With all due respect, are you actually presuming WW's body temperature now, and point blank refusing to consider for even a second that she could have been chilly?

For the record, I live in Melbourne and when visiting Queensland in winter, I've been known to get cold.

Happened to me on more than one occasion. Wasn't prepared for how cold it could get.
