and Hbayne...they actually are doing what the media are calling "parallel investigations" at the moment.......all the people in the street have been asked to account for their whereabouts and relatives have been asked for info.....will find the link.

Police have issued an appeal for information as the search for missing three-year-old William Tyrell enters its sixth day. Specialist police have been brought in to investigate the possibility the boy was abducted and are reportedly following a lead from shop owners in Kendall who reported that someone was asking for directions to the street where William disappeared.

If you have any information that may help find him, please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Why do you suggest a surprise visit from Sydney? It is not uncommon for a daughter to visit her mother, maybe she needed some rest before new baby arrives

Do we even know if it was maternal grandmother they were visiting? Maybe it was partners/husbands mother, possible only step grandmother too.
Just thinking back to neighbour who said he knew who lived in house but didn't appear to know William's parents

I got the impression it is the paternal grandmother, not sure now where I saw that though. Maybe in comments on the SES FB page, as that was my go-to place for a while.

Agree that is odd .. although the photo on front verandah that day at least proves he was there .. now the fact that dogs didn't find any kind of scent is less suspicious because it seems that the dogs just couldn't pick anything up for whatever reason ..

Timing is weird, I read somewhere they were on holiday, so were they already staying in the area, or nearabouts? Or did they actually drive from Sydney, leaving at 6:30am which is just v unlikely.

<modsnip>

Do we have any actual evidence that it was taken on the day before he went missing? Can someone give me a link for this?

*The people speaking (I thought and was lead to believe) were family friends? one named Nicole (not the parents)
*The facebook post made on missing persons was made by the person who runs the page whose name is also Nicole but not the same one as shown in the video.

Correct me if I am wrong

You are correct. Two DIFFERENT people. Nicole Morris runs the Australian Missing Persons Register, and is not associated with the family (but is working on the case). The lady in the videos speaking publicly for the family, her name is also Nicole - we don't know anything about her.

I read a link that said over 200 volunteers had spent 80 hours searching, my schoolgirl maths equates that to 16000 man hours,
well done to all those people who gave up all that time, I hope their time wasn't wasted.

Has anyone seen the MSM about Williams sister going inside to the toilet? I cant find it anywhere.

Interesting .... audio at this link says that with William's grandma's house being at the top of a hill, there is clear view for 400m down the street (and still they saw no red-suited little figure wandering). It also said that it is highly unusual for such a little one to wander far.

Hey you know what .. if you can see 400m down the street from her house, then someone anywhere within 400m down could also see up to the house, and since William was wearing bright red then maybe someone observed him from quite a way aways before making an approach .. just a thought.

The only place I can find it is in a comment (2nd one down) on the Missing Persons Register FB page.
The comment also says that the sister is 8 years old (though she does not look that old to me :dunno:).

Thanks SA.

Makes me wonder all the more now. That 5mins could have been much longer.
I see some say the sister was 8, 5 and younger than Will.
A press release with some facts would be great.

This is from lastnight. Not much traffic, not many sticky beak neighbours to worry about, up on a hill....

Police have conceded an opportunistic attack is unlikely, as the house from where he went missing is surrounded by bushland, with only a handful of houses nearby.

In addition, it’s at the top of a steep hill and at the end of a cul-de-sac, meaning there is almost no traffic.

Either the police here aren't very efficient, or they're keeping a lot of information very close to their chests, and I like to think it's the latter. There seems to be so little background information that you'd normally see. It makes me wonder if there is a reason things are being kept quiet, and that police have been actively investigating leads in the background that they don't want made public for their own reasons. I'd be happy if they'd announce they'd found him safe and well any time now.

I'm really concerned about this little guy who should already be found. His family must be beside themselves.
