Or it simply sat idle and unregistered at the neighbour's place. Perhaps AJ (or whoever) told the police that the car had been disposed of knowing full well that it was unregistered and difficult to trace.
I just can't help but wonder if the neighbor was covering for AJ.

The police would be onto that very quickly Krig. If they don't have any involvement, I feel very sorry for them.

Jones is a very common last name....But unless the neighbour also had the same last name....The picture of the seizure of the vehicle took place in the same street at approximately the same address as another Jones listed in the white pages...

Guessing the car was given to an immediate neighbour....

Probably under some other pretext that the kindly neighbour knew nothing about their neighbours being investigated RE: the Tyrell case.

I once had a situation about 8 months ago where my husband said a friend of ours asked if he could store his car at our house for awhile as he (this friend) was getting harassed by his ex partners family.....

I told hubby to tell him NO...it wasn't our problem and in truth this friend was a bit shady...so that set off alarm bells for me....I even said to my hubby....that's what he's telling you...BUT truth is he could be involved in something else (not that I had any particular idea what that could be)...

Till this day I don't know why he wanted to have us store his car at our place.....

BUT I bet I was right that it was something shady going on..

Not everyone is smart enough....been a member on Webleuths ...to think...wait a minute...that doesn't sound honkey Dory..

and this friend has turned out to be a complete looser...who we don't now have any contact with...

Point being.... I can easily see a neighbour or friend being sucked into taking "storing".."Hiding" a car .....if they are fed a ******** story...and simply think they are helping a mate out.

If your husband was/had been suspected then charged for sexual abuse of a child.
Even if there had not been a child disappeared from nearby.
Does it seem reasonable to assume that the wife who had been residing with you until she had booted you out as soon as she found out.
Would have been interviewed by police particularly if young children where in the home.
Given AJ was a member of GAPA I think that is a fair assumption.
It just seems imo that routine questions would be .......... and what type of car does he drive, where is it ...blah blah.

His family also wanted to make clear that they remain supporters of GAPA, the vast majority of whose members are upstanding citizens.

Here's something interesting....'Relatives said "they weren't close" ....in relation to Tony (Anthony) or what ever alias he has adopted over the years - regarding his relationship with Bill Spedding....

that one comment alone suggests a far greater relationship than simply having sold a washing machine to Jones daughter...???

ahh and the plot thickens... I'd be more inclined to say...for ****** sake he just sold a washing machine to this guy!!!...But No...

I agree soso, but can't figure out what. An alibi for phone records/between the two? When was this sale? (On or around Sept 12th?) Was there an old machine that needed discarding? Where did it go? A Good place to hide evidence?.....IMO

A statement written on behalf of Jones' ex-wife, who no longer considers the man part of the family, described Jones as a 'cretin', 'barely' a human being, and deserving of severe legal punishment.

'To discover that a lot of this was unbeknownst to me and his family was a shock to say the least,' the statement read, The Daily Telegraph reported.

'The horrific list of charges only cemented my belief that he was the true meaning of a misogynistic, condescending, egotistical (barely) human being.'

This said his ex-wife and not the newly separated partner - is that right? MSN for me wasn't 100% clear by that, as usual. One ex or two ex-es now?

The wifes of BS and AJ may know a reason (not the right one, I think) why both of the families moved to the same area. What did these men tell their wifes, I would like to know. I'm sure SMH worded it deliberately in 1 sentence?

They both moved to the Mid North Coast but relatives say they weren't close.

We scrap metal reasonably often & while it is still very common to have cash transactions, more and more we are finding that there are invoices and direct debits.

But out for a small scale scrap metal guy? It would be perfectly reasonable to not have a transaction record. As far as they go with the ATO, it's a case of 'what metal'
