True, but wouldn't the neighbours recognise the cars as being locals?
As far as I know, the only person who has been reported as seeing the cars was the FM, and she would not recognise whether the cars belonged to residents.

The cars were there from the time William's FM saw them from the balcony when she went out there with the children to look for a local kookaburra, and again when she was playing with William and his sister in the yard (celery tree). This was after the 9 am green-grey/grey car drive-by and u-turn (whilst she was watching the children ride their bikes on the driveway).

Therefore, the drivers' of those cars weren't there on a 'quick' visit. Maybe hiding (waiting) in plain sight? (A PI did just that to find my siblings and I. We were basically 'stalked' but not abducted, thank God. This doesn't influence my thinking; in fact, a random opportunistic abduction is a simpler explanation. I'm taking into consideration DCI Jubelin, Police Commissioner Scipioni, Premier Mike Baird and Justice Minister Troy Grant's 'belief that William is still alive as there is no indication he is deceased'. If a stranger abduction occurred than it's more than likely William is deceased. They would know that. I don't get the impression they are lying.

FM was sitting on the rear small verandah with her mum, chatting, before going inside to make tea - is that correct? So, for that period, she would have been unable to see if the vehicles out front were still present - the crucial time before William went missing.
"Nothing....silence"......so not even the sound of 2 cars pulling away.

I have finally worked out how to reset my password to contribute to this discussion... I be been lurking for a while. I think it is entirely possible that they were followed from Sydney and entirely possible that whoever followed them waited for FF to leave. I also thinks it's plausible that no sound was heard as lawn mowers or a kettle boiling or toilets flushing could have covered outdoor sounds. I know when I make a cup of tea my DH lifts the TV volume significantly. I also think it is possible to sneak into a garden unseen.... there are plenty of trees and the house sits very high. I also can't help but hope the investigators have considered all possible directions for WT to have ran. FM could be mistaken with the direction she thinks he ran. Lastly can I confirm ... is the speculation AK is KT sister or WT bioF?

May need a refresh on my memory.....

Wasn't TJ identified as a key person of interest in the early days .... when Police revealed they were looking at the GAPA connection.

TJ was interviewed back then. He was also questioned about the vehicle he was driving at the time .... which was his wifes white station wagon. He told police it had been scrapped.......

Fast forward ..... One year anniversary...its finally revealed (60 Minutes progrsm) Police are looking for two cars. One being a white station wagon.

Low and behold a few days later we find out the supposedly scrapped white station wagon was actually being kept at a neighbours house....

That's highly supiscious ..... makes me think "that" car was involved.

Ohh and PB was driving his sons grey sedan at the time William went missing ....... aparently his son took the car to QLD ...

Ohhhh and its apparently been scrapped too.....

No I do not get the impression they are lying either.
196 direct reports to the strikeforce.
628 exhibits, 450 addresses canvassed.
690 poi and the creation of Rosann 2.

It is believed William could potentially still be alive because there is nothing to suggest otherwise.
I am curious as what suggests he is potentially alive given it is considered to be an opportunistic abduction. Information, evidence or something else.

A person will only have a legitimate claim on the $1 million reward if the information they provide leads to the recovery of William, he added.

GJ also suggested that if that means a body that the police have promised the parents and are determined find out what happened to William.

Yes I agree Puggle they were imo identified as key persons of interest but I think the conversation started in regard to whether the police had identified NC as a poi.
I guess looking back it was Taylor Auerbach that gave us that exclusive on Gapa and it ex president and former member.
Many members said they had been interviewed, if my memory is correct.
Jubelin did say in the press conference the other day even if you have only been interviewed once ....we might be back.
The web has been cast wide.

Bickford says police working with the Strike Force Rosann – the specialised unit charged with finding William – have told him he is no longer a person of interest and hopes William comes home as the case has caused him a lot of grief.
“I’d like to know what happened to (William) too, it would save me a lot of grief,” Bickford said. “I would like to know where he is, I want the person found. I really feel for the family. It must be terrible, we have been through grief as well.”

Though PB thinks is he is in the clear because he and his wife were told so. ha

imo

From the official Where's William fb page -
Little William is still missing. Police believe he could still be alive; he could be anywhere. Following the announcement a $1 Million reward for information that leads police to William, the Where’s William? Campaign are rolling out a national awareness and advertising campaign that resonates across Australia with the primary focus centred within NSW and QLD. Funded by donations from supporters and sponsors, the campaign features newly developed digital and classic billboards on roadways, in shopping centres, bars and cafes thanks to the incredible generosity and support of oOh!media.
Please help by downloading posters, flyers, online banners, web tiles, radio and TV ads and more from the “Where’s William? Reward Collateral” folder at the downloads page at William’s website. http://www.whereswilliam.org/downloads/

One swallow doesn't make a summer, but two starts to build some heat

That $1 million dollars will start to lubricate the case over the next month. That is a nice stick to wave

From memory, several. The undeveloped block across the street, and #35, and I think someone came up with a couple of others way back in the threads somewhere.

Wasn't GM's house for sale at the time. I recall the ff were there to help with either preparing the house for sale or packing after the sale.

Usually a sale takes 4-6 weeks from exchange of contracts to settlement. I'll take a look see but I'm remembering the sale took place in October that year.

From memory, fd had something to do with the sale?

We've been through this everywhichway.

We looked at surveyors, agents, pest & building inspections and even valuers.

The temptation is to take the fact that the drivers of the two cars have not come forward, and to reach the conclusion that the two cars MUST be relevant.
That is a risky assumption to make, because I think by far the commonest abduction scenario is a lone perpetrator, who cannot drive two cars at once.
I can find many cases of abduction which involve a vehicle, but none that involve two vehicles simultaneously.
Here is a useful reality check - has there ever been a case of an abduction by two people, who take two vehicles to do the abduction?

I have never reached the conclusion that the two cars MUST be relevant. IMO the two cars and their owners had nothing whatsoever to do with William's disappearance.

just saw little williams face flash up with the million dollar reward advertised in a digital ad screen at broadway shopping centre in glebe sydney,
so hopefully with the ads shown in all the nsw shopping centres it guilts someone who knows into talking to crimestoppers!
i always feel sad when i see his beautiful little face

Ah, I didn't realise that. Thanks.

Sneaky Beach is a little kids computer game.

The storyline reads like this ...... a bit like William's disappearance. :(

"You and your cat Sneaky went to the beach house for vacation. You just finished unloading the car when you noticed Sneaky had disappeared. Now you must use your Sneaky spy skills to find him! Good luck and have fun playing!"

thankyou. It's new to me. Interesting shirt just the same I think.

Great theory, White Lion. Welcome! :)

This theory covers a lot of our questions. And I have never thought about the perspective that the police are only talking about the family that they always talk about (sort of as if the other family does not exist, because they can't talk about them).

I guess my only question would be, how did this person know that William would be at his grandmother's house? And a day early. That is the part that always stumps me.

At least one person knew the family was coming to visit, because there was an sos to fix the washing machine in preparation.

Hasnt there been a suggestion of some connection on MS's side with the bio-family?

i am not sure that the fact they arrived the evening prior to what was originally planned, has much bearing. They were still expected to there on 12th. When I go to visit family who are a few hours away, we always leave really early to beat the traffic & heat of the day, and to maximise the visit time. So if someone knew they had similar habits, IMO they would have expected them at FG by mid-morning.
