Just thought I'd also mention something I have noticed about his FB page. If you look at his FB behaviour his activity is nearly always every day, up untill the day after William vanished that is. He posted about the little lad on Saturday the 13th September.... then nothing from him for two whole weeks... until Sunday 28th September saying about a broken freezer. Did he go away? On a trip may be to a Caravan park? On that same day that he reappeared on FB - A Victoria couple take up residence at a caravan park for two weeks, then a child is apparently heard crying.. police are then called at some point,,, caravan is search in connection with Williams disappearance. He might have just been ill those two weeks but thought I'd mention it.

I'd put good money that the very early line about the washing machine repair van in the article was a very deliberate inclusion - perhaps the police working with the journalist to put subtle pressure on or the journalist having a hunch they want recorded themselves perhaps?
 
If it was a deliberate inclusion that would imply he was an early suspect but surely they would have swooped in and taken back William from him at the caravan park if they thought it was him from early on? Unless the caravan park is unrelated and another line of enquiry.
 
Oh my goodness so much information to take in. Ive been constantly refreshing all day and my productivity level was at an all time low today because i was just thinking about little William Tyrell. Im off to bed but hope to hear of some new information in the next few days. Im so happy we have the internet, FB and alike. It can be such a resourceful tool! For example we found a bank card and a phone in our yard today and posted on FB to geg someone to come forward and claim and a friend of mine around the corner sent me a message that on FRI when we were not home a drunk driver crashed into their yard and went on the run and hid from her husband chasing him. After a little FB sleuthing we found the guys girlfriend and owner of the card are best friends and were all partying together that night. Police will be visiting tomorrow. If only little spidermans case was so open and shut!! Night all.

Sorry who's FB page is this? Interestingly I just noticed that WS wife is a member of a "Grey Nomads" caravanning group on FB.

Working with the NSW Police Force’s specialist Sex Crimes Squad and Homicide Squad, local detectives have slowly come to accept that it now seems unlikely William simply wandered off.

The worst fears of those living nearby centre on the fact that there are several known sex offenders in the area around Bonny Hills and Laurieton, where police have also conducted raids in recent days.

William’s family is being kept up-to-date with the ongoing investigation, which the police are determined to push forward, Superintendent Fehon said.

“It’s a three-year-old child, remember.”

Trying to dig up the truth about William Tyrell

There is no suggestion Mr Spedding, known as Bill, will be charged and Superintendent Paul Fehon played down any suggestion the developments were a “major breakthrough”, saying it was just one of many lines of inquiry.

Mr Spedding and his wife were questioned but released without charge. Mr Spedding also gave police a DNA sample.

Supt Fehon said he did not expect any arrests to be made in the next 24 hours.

WS says the only connection he has with the family is that he gave William's grandmother a quite for her broken washing machine.

I think this could be the van .. on his property. If it is, how would they know that it belonged to a repairman when it was seen on William's street after he went missing. I guess they must have checked. It doesn't appear to have signs on it.

Having a hard time catching up with all the posts and links. World time differences can be a pain sometimes (though I do like mornings when I can catch up on US cases before America wakes up!).

Think we're gonna have to sit on our hands for a few hours/days on BS. His Fb page seems so normal, and updated regularly, but as Sandamanda pointed out above there is a 2 week time gap with no postings whatsoever:

31st Aug - photo uploaded showing photo of his wood pile ready for winter
11th Sept - random quote shared
13th Sept - news report about William shared with words "keep a look out for him"
28th Sept - status about how freezer defrosting, part replaced, having BBQ to use up the thawed meat. Later, photo of fixed freezer.
29th Sept - anniversary lunch with wife, with pics of food
29th Sept - News report about William shared with words "still missing so everyone keep looking"

Then, lots of normal everyday stuff, with shared posts about William on 2nd and 7th December. Try as I might (!) I can't read anything suspicious into any of it. However, I'd love to know where he was in the gap periods.

Does anyone know when the couple were at this caravan I keep seeing mentioned? And has it been confirmed it was the Speddings?

There might be writing on it underneath where the door has been slid open.

Pretty sure this is the van. They used this pic in some news stories and a person on his fb commented and said 'should have moved the Speddos van back for some great advertising'.
 
If this turns out to be WS responsible LE need to be dragged other hot coals. A trades man had been at the property just days earlier saying he would return surely he was suspected straight away if not LE Missed something there.
Massive shame poor William.

Quite sure that is a police forensic van. The old article that mentions a white can in the street wasn't confirmed by police it was just some descriptive writing in an article.
I haven't been able to find any photos of a van advertising any handyman services, only one of bs in a van advertising rentals.

Eta aww I should've caught up before posting :/

Oh, thank you. Now I realise I was only seeing the "highlights", not all stories. I'm an amateur FB sleuther I guess!

It's a lot creepier now that I can see all his posts about WT.

P.S. The vans in the pics above look slightly different, in the tail lights and tyres.
 
I don't get a hinky vibe from him. BUT- would LE really use him as a patsy? I can't see that happening.

I know we can't discuss it but it is a HUGE (iykwim) coincidence that the S's are carers.
