They must be sure it's him to be so blatant about naming him as the focus of the investigation. As usual I wish we knew more!

This article says the sex crime squad is involved. I wonder if that is a new development since the computer search.
The whitegoods repairman, William Harrie Speddy, was there to fix a washing machine, took a look at the broken appliance, said he needed to order it a new part and that he would return.
The 63-year-old grandfather says he never returned to that Kendall address - the home of William Tyrell's grandmother.

this isnt true though is it? wasnt his van mentioned as being there by that msm article?
i wonder if he did become involved in the search,(as someone earlier posted) and pretty creepy (if hes guilty) if hes in any of those many photos of the ses and volunteer searches on the find william fb page!
Before that, a caravan park at Laurieton, about 15 minutes from Bonny Hill, was also searched by police last week as part of their investigation after a resident complained about hearing a child’s screams.
Am I crazy, or didn't the most recent articles say the couple was no longer the focus, but now they are looking at the pawn shop business?
I assume they're connected, given his surname is Speddy, and the pawn shop was called Speddo's Pawn, or something like that.
In the smh article linked upthread they spell his name both Speddy and Spedding in the same article.
The Speddings have lived in the area for only a few years, and 9NEWS understands the police are focusing their investigation on the home and the pawnbrokers, rather than on the couple.
The searches, which began last night, were prompted by a call to CrimeStoppers, but police have said they have not yet found anything of significant value to the investigation.

right, I get you. The locations, but not the people.
Though... all those places belong to those people in some way?
Maybe a relative of theirs did something?
