3 years ago a tip off from a member of the public about a dumped car.
But the car was burnt out and upturned when the police went there.
It was silver. Well before it was burned.
AJ drove cars like both that were out the front of the house. Obviously not at the same time...
The burned out/rusted car was the same make and model as AJ drove.

I think. Will rewatch when it come up.

I think the silver/grey one wasn't thought to be his.

Just a FYI (not arguing ) - Wauchope in 2006 had a population of 7,500 and Bonny Hills in 2016 almost 3,000. That's still over 10,000 people not including Kendall. Doubt everyone knew everyone.

Tip off by public .... car dumped in the woods by a person of interest ... recognised as same make and model as car Tony Jones drove.
When he (member of public) returned with detectives, car had been flipped over and burned out.

First time new look of Spedding has been seen since charges in Vic were withdrawn (they said dropped). No signwriting on his van, at all.

"White vehicle towed from his Tony Jones home in 2015, and here is the silver one, dumped."

I would think so. Wasn't the white wagon hidden at a neighbours house when it was retrieved by LE?

It said in the clip LE were notified 3yrs ago. So when the person who found the car told LE, how soon after being alerted to the car did they go and investigate it??? One would hope ASAP, but considering when the guy went back with LE and it was burnt, the info may not have been acted upon straight away.

Also the burnt car is a hatchback, more like the shape of what fm described for the white car and not the grey one

The location of the car is quite a ways into Middle Brother Forest, according to Google. (If it is in the area we are thinking.)
Remember when the Middle Brother Forest search was carried out on 18th September 2014 - 6 days after William went missing?
We always wondered specifically what was behind that search. Maybe it was about the movements of a car such as this? Maybe ACA has only just been told about it.
Little dribs and drabs leaking out, keeping the case alive in the media.
