I’m happy to have any spoilers, having trouble getting it from NZ at moment.
Wasn’t really anything new or spoilers. Just that the older sister saw the green grey sedan that turned in the neighbours driveway and she asked Ffc who it was. Also 3 stops on the trip to Kendall. Petrol station, Maccas and a roadside stop to change kids into the pull ups (like a nappy). All without any unusual happenings or incidence.

Got it on the Acast in the end. I thought it was good, but wish it had been done years ago. Would have removed so much suspicion from the FPS. If only all the public had been on their side, who knows what might have been.

Impressions of the podcast so far are not particularly impressive. the journalist Lia Harris has a rapport with the FC's, approached them to do this podcast which they had some reluctance about however changed their minds when the course of the investigation changed presumeably with GJ no longer heading the investigation. They want to get out more details. So far new information is thin on the ground, there is a lot of use of the initial police interview for television
and police statements. 3 stand outs from police statements and evidence given at the coronial inquest are -

1. The car and driver observed by the FFC and WT's sister turning in the neighbor's driveway, FFC says in her statement that she didn't see the driver, at the inquest she gave a detailed description of the driver.

2. The FFC giving vague details in her statement about how long the washing machine had been in disrepair, at the inquest she said her mother had stated that the washing machine repair man had come two weeks ago but it was not correct as he had only been there on the Tuesday. She acknowledged at the inquest that her mother was prone to over exagerating and under exagerating.

3. The explanation of govt protection surrounding identity due to the foster situation. There is no longer a foster situation.

So far with the activities of the morning that WT went missing there seems to have been a lot of details up until that last 1/2 hour, which really haven't been filled in so far by anything in the podcast. I hope to learn more in future episodes.

Apologies if this is a spoiler in any way.
Two things that stood out to me initially....the FGM told the FFC that the washing repairman wouldn't call because that's not how things were done around there. He would just turn up when he had the part. So there was no appointment on that day or any other because she expected him to just turn up at any time. And the FFC seeing the grey green sedan driving down the road whilst she was with the older sister. She says she doesn't see the occupants so I am confused where the sandy haired large man who looks at her and she looks at him comes into this. Did I miss something perhaps?
yes thats the part the got my ears going also..just turn up and she seemed very strong on that

RSBM

I think most people who have done nothing wrong wouldn't mind being recorded, unknowingly, by a police officer. Done nothing wrong, don't dislike the police, what's the objection?

It is only the people who have done something wrong, people who dislike the police, and perhaps a few civil libertarians, who would object to being unknowingly recorded. Which is not the kind of people that we don't want recorded. The police need protection, too.

Yes, change the laws. imo
Couldn't agree more, SA.

Point 3. There is still a foster situation: William's sister.

Yes, I am aware that some feel that way. I have also read some of the truly vicious, nasty comments.

I guess we will wait and see what the 'popular' vote is.

Strange, though, if they feel that Jubes was getting closer to 'their' truth, they would want the charges against Jubes not to be dropped. Kinda goes against 'their' truth coming out, if that's the case. (Saying their, because I want to highlight that it is not our truth.)

BBM, Maybe many do not have a blck/white, us/them attitude about the case and can discern the positives and negatives about many of the people involved in this case...

BBM - From everything known by MSM there is still a foster situation of the female child - do you have a link to suggest otherwise?

Conversely, a counter-petition demanding the charges stay and the investigation is revisited (again!), has a total of 4 signatures. :D:D:D
But I notice none of them, not one, has put his / her name out there. That is very interesting IMO. Why are they hiding? What are they hiding?

Why let the facts get in the way of a good story. A bit like assuming BS is still in the midst of defending historical charges in court and assuming his status is up in the air when it isn't. I would actually like to know how we can deal with misinformation given through MSM, when we know it to be incorrect but MSM are not reporting accurately. any suggestions?

As do most of our valued, very astute and erudite members on here.

I think there is a body that you report to. Recall seeing retractions in the courier mail and also regarding tv stations about it. Would probably be easy to find if you wanted to.

The fact is, William’s sister is still in foster care. IMO.

Actually, that is a really good point. Are Acast, Spotify and itunes considered MSM. Just because well known journalists are conducting the interviews etc. on the podcast, does not mean that the content is held to the same standard as what would be published from a MSM outlet. IMO

Not reporting accurately OR not reporting because of Privacy and Court orders. You can't pin this on them, just because people THINK they know something doesn't make it true.

My favourite Mod saying is - Link it or Leave it.

one thing has sttod out to me from the ffc statement at the inquest and this podcast and 60mins interviews etc, she likes to paint a picture, the cup of tea making etc, tell a story of normality, they both mention normal a lot, a normal, happy family,
i realise they are probably trying to emphasise how in these normal family circumstances how abnormal the abduction seems, and a lot of people express themselves like this and maybe she feels guilt for william disappearing under her watch so doesnt want to be judged,
but to me it just feels like its a script, with each word chosen very carefully, even the 000 call seemed measured,
im not judging or accusing the fc or anyone of anything, just observing

Agree, have just consulted the mod to see if the way the podcast is published if it is deemed MSM.
