“William vanished from a dead-end street on the edge of a small town. No one but his parents and grandmother knew in advance of his visit to Kendall.

This has made police confident that the person who kidnapped him was already in the area.

"You would have to have some other reason to be there and take that opportunity; either visiting, residing or working in the vicinity."

There was only a narrow window of opportunity to take William, who was snatched in broad daylight and with a significant risk of being seen by someone on the balcony of William's home as well as neighbouring properties.

This has made police certain that the kidnapper was impulsive and took tremendous risks.”

ok, that's your position.
If you believe Jubelin is untruthful and his reasons for taping PS aren't warranted, why make up PS has a dementia or severe mental illness for the last couple of threads to prove your point? Not going to discuss this further.

I'm just trying to put the pieces together.

1. William didn't leave the driveway (according to the tracker dogs) and I don't believe he had any shoes on, so he was probably picked up in a vehicle.
2. Whoever took him probably had business in the street and if seen would not have been regarded as suspicious.
3. Postie and FGM were friends.
4. Crabbs heard a vehicle that they thought was the postie.
5. PS was supposedly outside waiting for the postie.
6. Ron Chapman saw a woman with blonde hair piled on her head with a child in a spider man suit he believes was William, speeding past his street.

If I was an investigator, I'd be having a closer look.

Am I crazy??

Just a reminder it's not a dead end street - many 4wds could get through. This may be something the team was trying to hide initially.. ?

He became the only person who had continuity in the strike force, despite starting five months in, because other members were rotated out. After he tendered his resignation, Jubelin said he was not allowed to speak to his former colleagues or give a handover to another detective.

Detective Senior Constable Louise Rodden, who was in the strike force for more than three years, was asked if Cook's view of the investigation was "that nothing was going to happen, no success was going to be achieved and it should be discontinued". She responded, "yes".

In a recorded interview with internal investigators, Jubelin said about 30 police passed through the strike force in his time overseeing it. Inquiries included 500 persons of interest and more than 1000 reported sightings of William.

They don't just see something that looks like it might fit and instantly make an arrest.

and do you know they haven't? Postie would've been interviewed and given the time she was in the street and if she saw anything. The mail in the letterboxes would've be clue. Why would she kidnap William?

What I’m asking is whether to anyone’s knowledge has it actually been established postie was there .
