Did someone say there were cameras in the forest/scrub?

Did someone say there were cameras in the forest/scrub?

Someone mentioned that towards the beginning of this thread, that it looked there were cameras.
If so wondering if the owner of them has "interesting" footage that they came across.

Why would there be cameras though? In the middle of nowhere?

makara posted large photos of an isolated house in there, so probably the same house?
go back to page 7 post number 168

Ohhh I thought they were searching further away from that house. It looks like a shed though, but may have been converted because there looks like a mailbox out the front on the road

Could the cameras be filming the police work, or waiting for someone to visit the bush? Were the cameras really obvious? I thought that would deter a perp from visiting.

In the U.S. hunters use them to spot deer, so most likely for hunting purposes. Is hunting allowed in that area?

ETA: Or as Angeline said, maybe to film police search.

That's what I thought as well, Why in the middle of nowhere.
Someone in an earlier post mentioned National Parks .... logging maybe??
I have been trying to find the post.

Another possibility is wild dogs/foxes which are a problem out there. I know they have been baited but I don't why they would be filmed. Seems a bit OTT.

Sorry if it's been answered, but where are the cameras linked to? I'm not familiar with cameras used for hunting etc but they must have a power source, are they linked to this isolated house /shed?

Police divers have arrived to search a murky creek not far from an isolated house in dense bush as the investigation into the suspected abduction of William Tyrrell continues.

Police have also brought in a sniffer dog and his specialist handler to help examine the dense bushland

Of course when we are looking for evidence that would also include a body," Detective Inspector Gary Jubelin said at the search site.

i wonder what info police received to make this a search for a body?
and who owns that isolated house?

This is sounding so sinister. Poor William :(

They are powered by battery. They detect motion, can take still photos or video, and have a memory card as a normal camera would. They usually use infrared technology so can easily detect images at night and take images without the animal knowing.

Video at the link below where police are searching today. At about 0.20 into the video there is a shot of the Lake Innes Nature Reserve sign, so I'm assuming that is where the search will be concentrated. It is a large area and it's difficult to ascertain exactly where within the reserve the search is being conducted.

The header on the video states that the police will update the public on the search at 2:00pm.
