IMO, what we have here is a victim who doesn't even know she was a victim, and who's still living with and being controlled by the perp. And today is no longer a minor! I think it's a very sensitive situation that's going to demand much patience. I don't see this much different than DV cases where the victim isn't cooperating with the State and/or does not want to testify. MOO
Throwing a smartphone in the trash in front of LE, yeah, no way they saw that, that's gonna fool 'em 100% of the time. /s
He was never her "boyfriend".I'm surprised Alicia and her boyfriend didn't run as soon as the electronic devices were confiscated.
Hopefully the love of her mother. Safety and understanding and time.Moo. I wonder what will become of AN life now ?
Well, him throwing it away , shows he knew it was wrong to have that stuff , it will only help a prosecutor get a harsher sentence and none of that "he didn't know it was wrong.... he is disabled and was unaware..." Just my opnions.Throwing a smartphone in the trash in front of LE, yeah, no way they saw that, that's gonna fool 'em 100% of the time. /s
