I think she probably went out the garage door.

Good idea Anita! I wonder if there is another door to the garage other than the door that the cars enter and exit through? I know some garages do have a smaller door that exits to the outside. None of our garages did though, they only had a door were you could enter from the house into the garage. Sounds very feasible though!

Yes, I am familiar with her case too. The mom reported her missing and they first believed it was a kidnapping. Now they believe she was murdered. They were in that landfill forever trying to find her body. I don't think they found anything. Poor child. I hope they didn't give her other kids back to her. I don't trust that woman.

They are actually still looking in the landfill, have been for weeks.

I'm still tinkering with this theory : Dad was up watching the D-Backs game and at some point left to get IDK a snack or something from the circle K or QT... Isa is up and about, as he is leaving he ask's her if she wants something to eat, she say's no daddy i'm sleepy and wanders toward's her room, Just after dad walks out the garage door to leave.. Isa changed her mind since she realized he was going to the store... So she goes outside and then something happened to her and he never knew she left. IDK but it makes sense. EVEN THOUGH they say she Officially got abducted.

Do we actually know what Isa's sleeping arrangements had been over the recent past
weeks?

Had this 6 yr. old girl been sleeping in the same room with her older brothers ?

If so, when did she switch to sleeping in the new room? I'm curious to know this.

Had this bedroom just been turned into Isa's room or was it unusual for her to
be there that night??

The only person stating that Isa slept with her brothers was Nancy Grace. One evening a caller asked Nancy about Isa sleeiping with her brothers and Nancy went to Nathisa Lance. Nathisha Lance stated that "there is a report out there", of which, has never, ever come forth to be substantiated.

No, we actually don't know Isa's sleeping habits.
NG stated "sources tell us" that Isa often sleeps with her brothers ---she has asked some of her guests to try to get confirmation, but so far, no go.

She was taken from her bedroom according to parent statements.

I agree. I have been asking from the beginning why LE hasn't been warning us Tucsonans about a possible kidnapper on the loose. There has been NO sense of "watch your kids extra close" at all. That has been helped to sway my opinion of what happened to Isabel.

They haven't been warning us about Mexican drug cartel members seeking revenge on families by sneaking into their windows and taking their small children, either.

I posted the following video in thread #13, page 3, post #59 but didn't think too much about the comment made by AS (neighbor that heard the dogs and talking men at 6:30 am) at 2:30 in the video. After all the theorizing going on about possible cartel involvement, I thought I remembered her saying something about it but didn't want to post without being able to link to the video. I finally figured out which video it was, so here it is:

http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/story/18306084/finding-isabel-the-untold-investigation

AS "I have heard speculations on that the family is involved with drugs, the cartel." Again, this starts at 2:30 in the above linked video.

Just putting this out there, fwiw, as it is a linkable MSN video about the local rumors wrt a possible cartel connection.

You have no idea how happy you just made me. Finally we have a link that mentions the family and the cartel in the same article. It's about time someone wrote an article mentioning it. At least all you sleuthers can see I didn't pull my opinion out of my arse. This may not be a known fact but neither are the other opinions being mentioned.

A poster brought this up earlier-detectives went back to the house with the three family members, separately. We know they had an object covered with a towel-was that for each interview? Or just the one with SC?

Yes! That was me, I have been working on the entry point, and how this would effect a theory (family, acquaintance, random perp). I had a thought that the beach towel could have been wrapped around Isa and that the 14 yo (only child brought back to reenact) could have seen dad in the middle of the night with a beach towel. I only saw SC in the clip with the beach towel not BC. I could not find a clip with 14 yo in it. I measured my beach towels and they are 60". I know this probably sounds weird, it was just a thought. If 14 yo was kinda asleep and up to use the bathroom and saw SC with this he might have thought nothing of it and went back to sleep. But during LE questioning it might have come up and precipitated the reenactment. Shortly after this was when SC was issued the no contact order.

I, too, had wondered if the information gained from interviewing the 3 family member at their home was what might have led to the "voluntary separation" suggested by CPS.

LE, CPS and the parents had a meeting on Friday, 11 May, according to this link: http://abcnews.go.com/US/isabel-cel...barred-contact/story?id=16334922#.T7Q3xu0mTQM

"The police statement said new information regarding the welfare of the older Celis children led detectives to contact officials with Child Protective Services and call in Isabel's family for a meeting Friday. The statement did not specify what prompted the detectives and child welfare workers to take action."

But the visit to the house was back on 2 May according to this link, dated 2 May: http://brilyuhnt.com/city_system/ne...se-separately-accompanied-by-law-enforcement/

"Sergio Celis arrived at the east side home early this afternoon with several detectives, according to News 4 Tucson’s Lupita Murillo, who has obtained video of this occurrence. The father remained inside the home for about an hour, then left.

Murillo then witnessed Rebecca Celis, Isabel’s mother, enter the home, also accompanied by law enforcement officials. After the mother left, a young boy was escorted inside the house by law enforcement."

I don't think they would wait 9 days (from 2 to 11 May) to take action; so it leads me to believe that it was not any of the interviews (reenactments?) from the day at the house that caused the decision to sever SC's contact with the boys. I just don't think they would have waited so long. :dunno:

:tyou: FrayedKnot. Your post made me go on an information search, as well. My computer - a window to the world.

And this was my hope when I first posted this "theory"... that other folks would do some digging. Fresh eyes and all that.

I knew you hadn't pulled it out of thin air. :) It just took me awhile to find the video where AS stated the rumor to a reporter. Is this still a plausible theory to work with, or......

Right, BUT... it was also stated that:

"a detective left with what looked like a comforter or a blanket of some sort."

Here is the info and link:
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1205/02/ijvm.01.html

The cops also came out of the house with a large towel, and they went to the trunk of the car, of the detective`s car. They pulled something out and covered it up to keep it from the media and then took it back into the child`s house.

Later, a detective left with what looked like a comforter or a blanket of some sort.
The last person to go into the house is Isabel`s older brother. There you see him going in, a little young man, white T-shirt and a cap, followed by a slew of detectives. People were in the home when the 6-year-old vanished, and they`re talking to the people who were in the home. What does it all mean? Why are they questioning this family one by one?

The thank you button was not enough! Thank you so much for this find. Ok, will keep working on my theory, seems dad was first, mom second, 14 yo last. The beach towel was a cover for something from the trunk of the detectives car.

Anybody, theories on what was in detectives trunk that was concealed with the beach towel?

I found the video where she mentions the cartel rumor and posted it above (post #780).

Wow, If that were my neighbor and their child just vanished, I would not state that to the media.
I'd tell the police that I heard rumors but no damned way I'd be filmed for the news and put my address out there.....Unreal:what:

Well, it was stated as a rumor, by a local, talking to other locals who may or may not know the Celis family. I'm not a mod, but it's been clearly stated by someone who was there, and heard people talking outside Isa's bedroom window. Like I said before, it's not out of the realm of possibilities, there are first times for everything.
