That is so interesting that on 4/24 they got a warrant for Uncle RR's truck to be searched and towed to police evidence. I wonder if it was seen in a recording. LE went around 10pm that night with warrant. Supervisors prohibited them from contacting owners HR and RR for the keys. HR and RR came and asked them why and gave keys. There is something that caused them to take this truck and photograph RR's phone of texts, log calls and contact numbers, so interesting. Was he the uncle outside at 8am with SC in the digital reco truck business.rding? Wasn't it RR's gf or wife washing dishes when they were made to leave out of the house?

What is needed to obtain a search warrant, probable cause? What made them think to search this specific vehicle? Could it be surveylance video?

Eta... Ok, now that I read over this, it sounds like I just regurdgitated your post... Sorry. I am also very intrigued by this

I really hate to say it since I like having some sense of privacy BUT it's situations like this one and other crimes that make me wish that our govt had a constant satellite image of more than just the clouds in the sky. I hate to think big brother should have such intel and overwatch but if it were only looked at with a court order then maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea.. I mean.. they already rob us of our privacy with freeway and street cameras in places like Phoenix... lol I used to get on the traffic cam site just to see my roommate pass it on his way to work to print screen him going past it and then make him a phoney speeding ticket.. but anyway.... it sure would make investigations alittle easier.

I wish they could just give everyone a shot of sodium pentathol!

Someone asked for information on what Sergio's employer said earlier, see below. This is found in Part 1, Pg.94

Somehow, I think I would need two hands to count the missing cases in the last few years that the family has been suspected, yet they haven't broken down & spilled. Maybe there is nothing to spill, but these cases have caused huge suspicion of a family member: the Horman case, Haleigh Dunn, Haleigh Cummings, Joshua Davis, Aliayah Lunsford, Ayla Reynold, Lisa Irwin, Sky Metalwala & I know I am missing some.

Don't we wish someone would spill, so these cases were solved. In some cases I blame the lawyers for getting involved; I think Lisa's parent(s) may have spilled had a high profile lawyer not have "jumped" into the case & took over. I am really loosing faith in these kinds of cases as it doesn't seem to be about getting to the truth anymore IF family is involved. I am not sure what to make of this case yet, but I am not liking timeline issues, we know from some of the case above it raises huge red flags. :banghead:

The laws in this country have to be changed. It really is that simple. It blows my mind that a child 3 years old can vanish and her parents can just choose not to search for her?!?!

Seems like these "parents" must watch Nancy Grace...**sighs***

Banging my head with you!!

Yes, something they saw in say a video, witness, something very credible they were told, have to be justified. They would get the warrant from a judge. Maybe someone even borrowed the vehicle and were seen or something of that nature.

From the actual news story - East Cooper

mamamia, from your photo on this post, I think the Cooper St. house is the one just below the Celis' home. See where the yellow line ends and you can look up and see the Celis' house? I think the dog hit there. It's right where the video of the 5 walkers was. The video of the guy lurking in the shadows.

It doesn't look like Prof is on line right now, but when she returns I bet she'll clarify.

ETA here's the video and part of the caption: "They may have been walking in the direction of or directly to East Cooper Street"

I have a few "theories" about what might have happened to Isabel. Among them is an accident that left the child critically injured or deceased. The reason for the cover-up might have something to do with the reason that CPS visited the home previously. The parents feared that reporting the incident would raise suspicions of ongoing problems in the home and place the boys at risk for removal. :moo:

I believe you need a warrant to search any premises- but having said that- once you invite an officer into and near any premises - anything at all can become " probable cause"

Ok... Since things seem to have slowed a bit.. I would like to go OT for a quick sec to say thanks to everybody for all of this hard work. I found WebSleuth a few years ago, and referenced it gobs during the CA fiasco. I had no idea how scads of released info was catagorized, sorted, and organized for my perusal. (same for baby gm) now I see first hand all the hard work and passion that ws'ers put in for the sake of the innocent children who fall victom.

Thank you.

This is Arizona's ARS for a Warrant .. It's actually pretty flexible.

13-3912. Grounds for issuance

A search warrant may be issued upon any of the following grounds:

1. When the property to be seized was stolen or embezzled.

2. When the property or things to be seized were used as a means of committing a public offense.

3. When the property or things to be seized are in the possession of a person having the intent to use them as a means of committing a public offense or in possession of another to whom he may have delivered it for the purpose of concealing it or preventing it being discovered.

4. When property or things to be seized consist of any item or constitute any evidence which tends to show that a particular public offense has been committed, or tends to show that a particular person has committed the public offense.

5. When the property is to be searched and inspected by an appropriate official in the interest of the public health, safety or welfare as part of an inspection program authorized by law.

6. When the person sought is the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant.

An "adequate job" of cleaning things up or covering up implies an inside job. What random attacker is going to hang around a scene to clean up after themselves? Ditto any other person outside the family. Someone who had time and could stay in the house to do this adequate level of covering up is what that means. IMO.

Ok, I'm going to put this map up an easier way to take it down if it's incorrect again.

I think that's it!! Also from the docs:

"One officer reported that a resident on East 13th Street said she heard a "dog going crazy barking" at a house on East Cooper Street at about 2 a.m. April 21."

Having a large family is not an indicator of guilt. IMO

Of course not but I, for one, am having trouble keeping up with the various family members and who's related to who, etc.

I could be be way off, but doesnt the camera footage seecm to point exactly there? If you compare direction and angle of parking spaces? Forgive me if this is way off, or super obvious. Clearly I am no forensic crime scene investigator, takes me an hour to find my car keys.
