I am thinking someone was not abducting the child as much as saving the child.

I put people like the mother and pervs in the same category... they don't change.... Chances are "mommy dearest" just picked a weapon that won't leave cuts this time, since that is how she got caught last time

Hmmm... I wonder if there's some mix-up? I read many of them and in the psychologist's report, Jahessye's mother says very similar words about her own mother:

"She's one of those people who should never have had children."

Bloodhounds being used are the ones used to track convicts (Like in the Hailey DUnn case), which aren't the right ones according to our S&R people

I noticed that peeples. Now, the mother was supposedly at work and not just on a short errand. She has a criminal history for abusing and injuring the children. If she was at work, did she leave the children under the care of a 13 yr. old? JMO but she may have seen this little girl wandering around the neighborhood on her way home from the errand/work and totally lost her temper and killed her.

I have just dropped in on this thread. I've been recovering from minor surgery and thought I would check in on the missing children like I normally do before retiring for the night. I must say, I reluctantly opened this thread, I am following so many missing children right now that I didn't want to get involved with an additional one. But, as you can see, I'm here and already Pizzzzzzzed off just by reading the little known in this case and the criminal history details on the mother. I did notice right away that she does have a bun hairstyle. I'm curious as to how she ran her errand/work? Does she have a car? Did she hitch a ride with someone? Did she walk?

Anyone who knows this and shares, TIA.

I was thinking something like that, too. Perhaps she didn't want LE to know that she had left the children alone while at work, so she told them initially she was running an errand?

I have no idea what do think in this case. I can't think right now. I'm too angry.

Like I posted on the previous page, I also wonder about the vehicle. I want to know if she has a dark sedan.

These booking photos of Jahessye's mom, Jerice Hunter and the child's biological dad, George Shockley, were taken after the pair was arrested in October of 2005 in northern California by Vallejo police.

The couple was booked for what they call in California inflicting injury on a child, felony child abuse.

Police tell us at least three kids were put in protective custody as a result of that arrest.

George Shockley is also a registered sex offender and is currently serving time in a California prison.

Vallejo police told CBS 5 News they also had contact with Hunter for similar accusations of harming a child the year before in 2004.

A check of court records shows Hunter has children from at least three different fathers.

CBS 5 spoke with Jahessye's grandmother Thursday. She would not speak to her daughter's criminal past, but did not deny it was troubled.

Glendale police told CBS 5 that no one has been ruled out in the girl's disappearance.

I hope that LE takes the mother in front of the witness and sees if the witness recognizes her as the woman pulling the child into the car.

I also want to know where this mother works? And what are her hours? And who blacked her eye and was it blacked prior to Jahessye was taken? Or afterwards?

Mom was reported for child abuse in 2005, maternal Grandmother turned her in.

Court docs in that case say two Aunts and the Grandmother questioned Hunter about the abuse. In essence she told them to f-off, her kids-she can do what she wants. I assume after that response, is when the report was made.

Hunter says her Mother abused her in the same way as a child, was addicted to drugs, had her children removed from the home. Her Mother is an RN. Not going to say that a profession exempts a person from that type of behavior, but I would like to think it may not be true. Wonder if there are records to prove her statements?

When Hunter paroled, why didn't she stay in Cali? Wondering if she wanted to avoid contact with any relatives there? Meaning she could do what she wanted with her children and no relatives who know her history are around to report her ...

Shockley is J's bio-dad, the other three children mentioned in that case are not his. Mom claims she did not know Shockley was a RSO when she got together with him.

I think her DOB is April 1, 2006? There must be another baby that was the 11-month-old at that time...
