I just listened to it - and the Reverend laid it all out on the table - on the record.

ST squandered the money, asked for the delay in order to have the time to do more online fundraising, and is selfish beyond measure. :thud:

Her children could have died the day she left them in the car (in the heat) to go to that interview. When this all started, she proved to us that her wants and needs mattered above all else. A leopard doesn't change its spots. (no offense to leopards)

Her kids are an end that justify her means. Nothing more, it appears. She got caught that day, and it's been a sideshow ever since. She's used to talking her way out of things and fooling people with her crocodile tears, hiding behind advocates. I'm convinced ST never wanted to work. Why work when you can live off charity - who cares if it's your children's' court ordered trust funds? You'll just ask for more! It worked so far, you lying narcissist! :gaah:

Well, I hope this is finally over! No more! Enough! :furious:

The State of Arizona needs to step in, and unequivocally make the Children the top priority. ST must be put in her place AND be held fully accountable.

Throw. The. Book. At. Her.

thanks snoods, seems the reverend is sorely disappointed in ST and happy to tell the world why.

the State of Arizona unfortunately does not have a good track record when it comes to taking care of and educating the children of this state. Just sayin...

Snoods, that was a great find!! Thank you so much for finding that.

Seriously, she needs some jail time. Let her see the consequences of poor choices and not just rewards and endless chance to try again. This children are obviously NOT a priority. The fact that the children did not die or were not seriously disabled by what their mother did was because someone noticed and called the cops. She left them unattended for over and hour!!! You don't do that even if your kids are in a comfortable environment, much less one that is over 100 degrees!! I am just so done with any mercy or help for Shanesha. Let her fry in jail - she sure didn't care if her babies fried in that car.

She took her second chance and the 114,000 and wasted it on a worthless babydaddy's laughable rap recordings. That is the height of arrogance and ignorance on the part of BOTH of them. They should both pay for this!!

Gah, sorry about that bad link everyone. Thank you Kimi_SFC for providing a new link for the radio show, you're awesome! :loveyou:

It's definitely an eye opener isn't it? The Reverend also talks about how hard they worked with prosecutors to get her that sweet plea deal and she threw it all away....

I was looking for info on another hearing today (Justin Rector) and ran across this:

"My patience has reached its limit," Montgomery said. "She will either comply with setting aside the money previously agreed upon or we will move forward with prosecution and that entire avenue of resolution will be off the table."
...
Montgomery said Wednesday that Taylor cannot drag the issue out any longer.

"She's exercising the same lack of judgment as she did when she left her children in the car to begin with," Montgomery said.

Snoods, thanks so much for finding and posting that internet radio show. Truly eye popping (or ear shattering) information from the Reverand. Especially the stories about the pizza restaurant job, and the hotel industry job he set up for her, that she blew off. This woman does not want to work, IMO. My gut feeling is that she was a complete PIA troop while in the Air Force, too. JMO. A tiger doesn't change its stripes.

This woman is MUCH more of a con artist than anyone had suspected. She belongs in jail, IMO. I hope Bill Montgomery can charge her with additional crimes. It would be nice if he could also get her for lying in court to the judge, about the $$ being in her mother's account.

That she blew thru the money buying time in a recording studio for her baby daddy (who doesn't support his 2 kids, and conveniently shows up when Shanesha is gifted with $114K) is beyond reprehensible, IMO.

I've sent a link to the internet radio show to a couple of reporters. Hopefully, someone investigates this further, and plasters it all over the national news.

This is a perfect case example to illustrate the dangers of making donations to people you don't know via crowd sourcing internet sites. Much better to donate to reputable charities who have accountability and a track record.

I really hope they can pile on new charges. She is really, really in need of a l o n g time out for a few years in jail, IMO.

http://www.azcentral.com/story/news...hanesha-taylor-misses-deadline-abrk/18585269/

Shanesha Taylor, the woman whose mugshot photo went viral after she left her children in a hot car, failed to meet Thursday's deadline to deposit $40,000 in her children's trust funds.

Taylor's attorneys withdrew from the case on Thursday, and she met with the media after the brief hearing to try to explain why she has not placed some of the money she received from donors into the trusts, as the agreement with prosecutors required.

Taylor told reporters outside outside the courthouse that she still has $72,000 left of the donated funds and that she failed to meet the deadline for other reasons.

Taylor also said that Thursday's deadline was moved up from the original November date too suddenly; she didn't have time to put the $40,000 in because her account only allows $20,000 in withdrawals a month.

In the past few months Taylor has been juggling her time between meetings with attorneys and job interviews. She claims she has had about three a week.

"I'm not some lazy bum sitting on the couch everyday," Taylor said. "Getting a job has always been my first priority."

Taylor is scheduled to go trial in early December.

IMO, this story from ST to the media sounds a lot different from what Reverend Jarett Maupin described in the radio show!

A trial date has now been set for the Valley mother who gained national attention for leaving her children in a hot car while she went on a job interview.

Video of interview. A must watch. Everything and everyone is conspiring against her. Lots of excuses. She is not happy with her previous attorney!

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/11/0...car-faces-trial-after-failing-to-put-cash-in/

Prosecutors say the mother of three has spent about $4,100 per month, including more than $1,000 in non-essential items such as cable TV, clothing and dining. Prosecutor Bill Montgomery said this week that his patience "has reached its limit."

Taylor said she isn't living an extravagant lifestyle, taking her children out to eat at places like McDonald's and Chuck E. Cheese's. More importantly, Taylor said, is that she is still looking for work on a regular basis.

Gary Braden of Phoenix donated twice to the online fund. He said her request to put less money into the trust funds doesn't necessarily mean anything unethical is going on.

"They keep saying she spent it all. Then why would she offer to put up $35,000?" Braden said. "I put myself in her position. If I don't have a job, I'm not going to put up a bunch of money that I can't touch."

Not even if your criminal case hinges on you complying? Really? SMH.

But that is the thought process. Make no mistake.

She deserves cable, internet, to go out to eat, a new wardrobe. So what if its the kids' money per the court. So long as she wasn't spending it at Chuck E Cheese on her kids (You know, the kids she was only recently reunited with) its all good.

What do you even say to that?

I'm with the prosecutor ... I have seriously lost patience with this situation!

It really is one excuse after another! Can't produce documentation because of her mother's tax issues (that inspires a lot of confidence right there)? Concerned about her kids accessing their money if they don't go to college? Didn't know the right date? Can't withdraw more than $20k at a time?
Sorry, when the alternative is two felonies for child abuse???

It's putting money away for your kids!

So what if it cuts into Chuck E Cheese!

Poor, poor Shanesha. Everyone is asking her to do impossible things and they don't even know what they're doing and plus they're having sooper seKrit meetings to plot against her! Here she is just doing everything they ask (but she's not) and they're making her look like she isn't! (Because she isn't.)

And by the way, she's talking about the law firm which represented her for free and the prosecutors who have bent over backwards to help her.

People are bailing on that trainwreck like rats from a sinking ship, but of course it's everyone else's fault. She can do no wrong.

Gary donated TWICE? He couldn't find a worthwhile charity to donate to?

She can't have the plea deal they agreed to if she doesn't put any of the money in a trust for the kids, Gary! :banghead: Why can't people understand that?

Bottom line, if she didn't want to accept the prosecution's plea deal she shouldn't have agreed to it! She easily could have said "no thanks, I'd rather spend all my money on giving the world the gift of Babydaddy's dulcet tones in a rap album. I'll take my chances with a trial." But she didn't.

ONE of her complaints was her availability for work seeing as she has court commitments and parenting class commitments. Given that those items are daytime commitments perhaps she could broaden her search to evening shifts? Her excuses are feeble at best.

I honestly do not understand how ST managed to pull this off yet again. Her negotiation skills are incredible. Why did the DA allow her another chance? He has shown that the children's health and welfare matter less than anything else.

This is unacceptable.

ST had painted herself into a corner, and the DA has let her out. Now, I don't have much faith that she will abide by the latest agreement. I believe we will hear that something came up that "caused her to fail."

This cycle will repeat until she is made to be accountable. This is the cycle of her life. It must be made to stop by outside forces. It should have ended the day her kids were found in harm's way. :cow:

I'm a single mother. Disabled. Full time student. And I live in the UK. And I'm disgusted by this woman's actions. I don't care if she was at a job interview, a church, a bar or a casino. The fact of the matter is that she left two babies in a locked car which reached temperatures of 100 degrees in half an hour. Whether it was dry heat, moist heat, wet heat or any other type of heat you want to think of makes not a jot of difference. Because inside that car those kids may as well have been in an oven. Had concerned citizens and LE not intervened then those kids would have sat in that death chamber for 1 hour and 15 minutes. That's way past long enough to kill them. The car was 100 degrees after 30 mins, it wasn't suddenly going to drop 30 degrees! This woman was lucky that she wasn't left having to pay for two funeral bills!

Not only that, but the idiots that sent her cash have been duped. That money should have been returned. But if it wasn't then it should have been used to give those children a stable life. There is only one reason that she hasn't put the money in the trust funds and that is because she had spent it on rubbish!

A strong message needs to be sent to people who leave their kids in cars. I have 3 kids, two are teenagers now. I have never forgotten one in the car. I've never left my child intentionally in the car before they were around 14. I wouldn't leave my 9 year old alone in the car for 2 minutes never mind 1 hour and 15 mins. This woman didn't accidentally leave her babies in the car. She made a conscious decision to leave them. That is abuse and neglect in my book. They could have cooked to death, they could have been abducted and murdered. Another car could have ploughed into the car and killed them. She needs to be punished for being so absolutely ignorant!

And to top it all off, she has been completely unapologetic about what she did. I'm afraid the staggering amount of donations she received has in her mind only validated the negligent decision she made.

According to Parenting by Shanesha there are apparently unavoidable situations in which you will have to leave your babies unsupervised and slow roasting in a hot car. And she actually believes it was the best option! :banghead: How is that EVER the best option? She has shown no remorse at all and honestly gives no indication that she wouldn't do it again.

From the start, she explained the choice to leave her children in the car as an agonizing but unavoidable one. “It’s making a choice out of desperation,” she said during an interview over the summer. “It’s choosing what is the best option, what is the best thing for me to do in this particular situation — being able to provide food, a roof, clothes, shoes for them, or take this moment and care for them.”

Really, really important point, Snoods-- that she has been completely unapologetic about her "choices", starting with her "choices" to nearly kill her 2 tiny children. She never seems to imagine that she very well could be facing 2 counts of murder, if those children had died.

This woman's arrogance is simply astounding. Especially feeling she can "dictate" to the prosecutor that she had "changed her mind" about the terms of the plea deal. The plea that she didn't deserve in the first place, and that her PRO BONO attorney fought for her to get. This woman is like a petulant, defiant child. She alone is responsible for every single obstacle she is experiencing.

IMO, she deserves to have her children taken away from her, and to do some serious jail time.

I have known people just like her. They never feel anything negative is EVER their fault, and fantasize that the whole world is always conspiring against them. Endless excuses, no personal responsibility, huge sense of entitlement. Total lack of conscience, no moral compass. Shallow, petty, selfish, manipulative, and small minded.

Now she has to get another attorney. I'm pretty doubtful that another pro bono attorney will step up.

If she can prove she is indigent, the court will appoint one (who would need weeks to months, I'm sure, to get up to speed defending her sorry self.). And if she is unwilling to PROVE she is indigent- and remember she just gave an interview that says she has $72K, then the judge will probably make her pay for her OWN attorney. And I'm sure we will hear even MORE whining about that.

But hey, she's no longer required to fund the trust funds for the kids, right? Which is exactly what she wanted, right? So let her use the donated money, whatever is left of it, to defend her sorry self. And I hope those kids are taken away from her, too.

Amanda Bishop, who organized the fundraiser for ST, speaks out.

Bishop may not feel stupid for helping Shanesha Taylor but the New Jersey woman is not pleased either. "That's the only thing that throughout this has really upset me is that she agreed to the judge's terms and then backed out," said Bishop. She just talked to Taylor about two weeks ago. "I kind of expressed that I thought it was the best idea to put it in the funds and she didn't and we haven't spoken since then," said Bishop. Bishop said she never had access to the more than $100,000 raised for Taylor on the YouCaring page she set up.

"We handed her the rope to pull herself out of the hole. The fact that she chose to hang herself with it is beyond our control," said Bishop.

http://news.yahoo.com/video/organizer-shanesha-taylor-fundraiser-39-202917890.html

Good video. Amanda Bishop works 2 jobs. Too bad Shanesha Taylor couldn't have shared some of that $$ with Amanda Bishop as a thank you. Imagine what something like $10K as a thank you gift could do for Amanda Bishop, or a new car, or something. Buy her a year's worth of gas or something.

I do wonder exactly how much was paid for the recording studio time for baby daddy. I hope a sleuthy reporter finds out.
