Hi all, been following from the beginning and now joining in.

A couple things I've been thinking about,
DD's head injury- I'm wondering if this injury was actually from something else, and the dive mishap was just an excuse that night not to bring drama to FM's night. A fight maybe?
In any case, it looked bad enough his friend wanted him to have it looked after.

With JD- it is odd that he can't seem to prove his whereabouts that evening. No witnesses to this? Unless it comes out later and we just haven't heard yet.

His girlfriend JL- it's likely she knows more of his circumstances since it was mentioned she and her kids lived there at the house.
I noticed she posted often in local buy and sell groups, mostly small $1-3 bath items. Her last postings for these items seem to be April 24.
She also posted a blue Dodge Ram truck for sale a few times, Feb, March and last one April 19.
I'm assuming this is JD's truck, but not sure.
Was he having money problems and needed to sell his truck? From the comments on last posts it does seem like they would have had viewers over to the house to look at it.

So many unanswered questions, hoping for answers soon for this couple.

A memorial service has been set for the mother of two at Marshall Funeral Home on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill for Thursday.

Head Injury - You're absolutely right. It's possible that Drew's head injury was not caused by the diving incident, but, by an altercation with someone PRIOR to that night (the head injuries are now coming out as "rumour" from autopsy, but, we already know from their friend's testimony that Drew had a head injury that night at the bar, and the friend's suggested he have it looked at before he went home).

Local Buy & Sell Groups - We all know from the horror of the Tim Bosma case here in Canada that people can go to a home to look at something listed online for sale, and then murder the unsuspecting sellers. This is a good theory - did JD's GF have buyers to the home, and they were casing FM as a result?

Blue Truck for Sale - Hmm. This is interesting. Will have to look. By the rumored accounts, there were money issues, but, how does that tie to FM?

As far of the blue truck for sale, I don't know if there's any relevance to FM. Yeah, the mention of TB and trusting strangers to your home-chills.

I kept meaning to check for any posts by JD and forgot before his account was deleted. I didn't think of checking hers but there certainly did seem to be a push for some way to get some money in the months after Jan of this year, which coincidentally is when FM returned to the country for her winter holiday. By April 24th she appeared to really be getting desperate as she was advertising all her body and bath products and even triscuit crackers. She was also looking for a "free" cook for a "diner" that it appears she was trying to start up? So perhaps the rumour of JD and FM arguing over rent on the 24th is true and his girlfriend started trying to figure out ways to make some money?

Since JD would have needed that truck for his business, I'm guessing things weren't going so well for him business wise when his girlfriend first starting putting it in ads for sale in Feb? Which is why he ended up working for the casino partner in March (I think I saw that the casino was still under construction?) and perhaps doing something for him that he knew was not legal because he need the money? I wonder if he was ever paid for that "job"?

But again, how does that translate into the idea that killing FM before she had a chance to return to Canada was the answer to his financial problems? And since we're on the subject, wouldn't it be just as much of an inconvenience to his girlfriend if she was thrown out of FM's home with her two young children? JD could always return to Canada. Where would she go? Back to live with family I suppose? Wasn't this considered one of the nicest and safest areas in the country where they were living?

I think I'm starting to see where police believe there may have been some motive here. Did DD perhaps also have an altercation with JD about perhaps being asked to leave the home? Was JD and his girlfriend expected to be out of there by the time they got home that night? Was someone just trying to buy time before anyone noticed that FM and DD were missing?

Is it possible that she's a fairly private person? Did she post photos about her home on social media when she purchased the property 3 years ago, or advertise her bed and breakfast there? If not, then it would be consistent that she would also not advertise a home sale on social media.

After yesterday's updates, I'm thinking Mr Richardson is the ruthless land baron. He broke a bottle on the head of Francesca's tenant and was facing charges. It's in Mr Richardson's interests to point fingers at the tenant and suggest that he is the suspect, that he argued with Francesca, and to take the focus off himself, but Mr Richardson probably benefits from Francesca's murder. He might have been asking to buy her property (we don't know) but we do know that her property will now be available and he can own a larger stretch of waterfront property. If she had any intentions of selling her property, I think we need to hear it from someone other than the violent neighbour.

I'd also like to know if the "neighbour" who supposedly heard the argument over rent between FM and JD is also the person who is described as the "elderly land baron" from California. If they are one and the same, he might have cause to get rid of FM (if she and he were involved in some sort of land deal that went sour) and he would have a good scapegoat if he knew that there were tensions between FM and her tenants.

I wouldn't be surprised if she had people coming over, as she also put her phone number out on a public post. Too trusting and careless imo.

Not sure if we ever had DD's facebook linked here. Noticed a recent picture of him sitting on top of the balcony railing at the house with both JD and FM's vehicles in the driveway area. Does it look like there is no duct tape on the front right light on her vehicle?

It's notable that he didn't have any pics of FM on his page. I don't think the "relationship" was anything more than a couple of people enjoying each other's company while they were both there. I think his family said they never met her or probably even knew about her. Which makes it even more sad for his family that if FM was the target, he was with her that night.

Lots of stuff going on with JD. No money, on the verge of being homeless, not to mention soon to be without transportation. FM disappeared on the eve of her actually disappearing from Belize. Possibly he figured that she wouldn't be missed, that he'd continue to have a home for at least a little while longer, and that he could sell the blue Dodge Ram and continue to use the white Isuzu. Solves all his problems at once. Sure there are plenty of flaws to this plan, but I see this guy as being very close to being homeless in a third world country. He seems to have bottomed out. Explains the Casino theft as well.

Definitely no tape on the light. On the current pictures the bumper is hanging off in front of the wheel, so she must have had a mild accident at some point.

That's OK. There were a number of inaccuracies I recall reading their reporting throughout. I don't have the time to review them now. You don't have to agree.

Funny how two people can read all the same articles and come away with one person thinking that the reporting is consistent with other news reports, and another thinking that just those news reports are completely different.
