Bobbi Kristina Brown found unresponsive in bathtub. #4

His days are numbered as he has no idea how to live in this world.

Good point. Nick Gordon has lived off others his entire life. At age 25, he has done nothing but booze, schmooze, mooch, and sponge off Whitney Houston and then Bobbi Kristina. He did a stint in rehab on Dr. Phil's dime. In the six months since Bobbi Kristina's tragic demise, Nick has been seen in hot tubs, on the beach, drunk in public, sipping Starbucks, and now living with his mother who couldn't handle him as a teen. Probably a rhetorical question, but has Nick made any effort to get a job? He was comfy with life among the rich and famous and has no knowledge or experience to handle life otherwise.

I suspect Nick's attorneys will start parading him around on TV talk shows to tell "his side of the story" regarding Bobbi Kristina's sad saga. Stand by... :moo:

LE has to do a thorough investigation before they can bring charges, and it has to be airtight. A civil suit is not as stringent. It's only been a couple weeks since she actually died, so LE is probably working hard to see what they've got.

Does anyone know if charges can he brought for assault even if the victim is deceased? For example, if they have witnesses or evidence to prove he hit her, but can't prove beyond doubt that her death was directly caused by that, can they charge him with assault instead?

•Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub on January 31
•Lawsuit alleges Gordon gave her a 'toxic cocktail' that morning
•She passed away on July 26 at the age of 22

Shocking details are alleged in a lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina Brown's estate...

I read an article that made it sound like there were cameras in her townhouse? At least in the common areas? Anyone know?

Yes. Supposedly, Nick Gordon had surveillance cameras installed so he could spy on Bobbi Kristina. Wouldn't that be something if those very cameras caught him hurting Bobbi Kristina!?!

BBM- If true, why hasn't Gordon been criminally charged?

:dunno: Good question for which there is no answer at this time. Panel on Dr. Drew last night agree that lawsuit couldn't be filed without some evidence to back up the allegations. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Anyone can file a lawsuit without adequate evidence to support all allegations. Whether it survives or not is the question. IMO

What was in this "toxic*cocktail"?
What is the significance of the*dust pan?
Who actually found Bobbi Kristina?
Who was the "female guest" in the townhouse that day?
Was Nick Gordon spying on Bobbi Kristina?
What did Gordon do after she was found?
"I think Baez will have a field day with this," he says. "(The conservator) keeps digging themselves deeper and deeper. Good luck proving this was a lethal cocktail, because she had been drinking and doing drugs in the days and hours leading up to (being found).

Since we seem to be talking about Nick Gordon and the civil lawsuit, maybe there should be a separate thread for this discussion.

The civil suit wants $10 million from Gordon..how is he going to come up with that? Did he stash her money over time or are they preparing for him to sell his story?

I totally fell down a rabbit hole... I am withholding judgement until real evidence comes out to back all this up. jmo

I am with you on this one. How can they prove NG gave her the toxic cocktail without her knowledge? Do you all think this is about wanting to hold someone else accountable other than BKB?

I believe BK consumed the toxic cocktail on her own.

Halperin says the latter part of this scenario fits with his theory of what happened to Bobbi Kristina, who had been regularly using drugs and alcohol for days, according to his investigation.

Yes, I think they are trying to place the blame on someone else.

IMO

I hope the article clears up some of the misconceptions about evidence and lawsuits.

Holloway says lawyers allege "unspecified information" in lawsuits all the time, information that causes them to believe certain things occurred, he says. They don't have to get into the details until later, during discovery, when each side explores the strengths and/or weaknesses of the other side's position.

"Just as in a criminal indictment, no actual evidence has to be revealed in filing a lawsuit," Holloway says.

Jerry Reisman, an estate lawyer with the Long Island firm of Reisman, Peirez, Reisman and Capobinanco, says that what lawyers say in "pleadings" such as this are "privileged."

That means "the lawyer can say anything he wants," Reisman says. The lawyer may not have all the facts yet, and hopes to obtain more facts later on in the legal process, he says.

I have also read posts about the families not having anything to do with the filing of the lawsuit. I don't believe that is true. Of course they did. They are behind it. IMO

The lawsuit was filed by her conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, who is not a relative of Bobbi Kristina but was appointed by the Georgia court to look after her financial affairs shortly before she died. On Friday, Hargrove amended the lawsuit to include more accusations and demands for tens of millions more in damages, and to suggest a theory of what Hargrove, and by extension Bobbi Kristina's Houston and Brown relatives, think happened in her townhouse that day.

Get a load of this one:

Bobbi Kristina Brown Biopic Movie Scripts Sent To Nick Gordon

“The problem is that the family can barely agree on funeral flowers, but there’s no doubt this will happen someday since everyone in the families agree the two should be honored and remembered in a special way.”

In the meantime, Gordon is rumored to have stepped in to review possible scripts and give his opinion. Yet, if he loses the multi-million dollar civil lawsuit against him, there’s a good chance that should he sign off on the project, he won’t be able to profit off anything related to Bobbi Kristina.

I agree. I also hope whoever took that "last pic" of BKB gets what they deserve as well. Those people have shown that nothing is beneath them. Nothing.
