She gave a statement to police on May 22, the day Smich was arrested.

She was with Smich when he was arrested. "We were walking from my sister's house to his house ... on our walk there ... the next thing you know, cars just stopped. Mark was on his bike, and it wasn't long until he wasn't on his bike anymore. I just remember yelling whats going on, I just remember seeing this guy, and then the pavement right after ... an officer ended up taking me down as well ... I was being put in handcuffs."

Even though she didn't do the right thing pre-arrest, thank God for MM doing the right thing after the arrest. She seems like a good stick.
It's draining but necessary.

After today's testimony, I feel like having a smoke... and I don't even smoke.

I feel like the Crown is almost done with her testimony. I thought she would be up a lot longer.

I can already guess RP's cross questions of her. "Did MS ever say he was DM's slave or puppy?" "DM gave you work to do, it came with perks like shopping trips and a cell phone, right?" RP is so predictable.

I think Marlena is still lying or not telling the whole story. She says she didn't ask more questions about the murder, yet discussed it every day, and says he wouldn't tell me where he burried the gun? That tells me that was asking questions.
 
I honestly believe she means that MS was infatuated with DM, worshipped him. This again speaks to the controlling nature of DM.

My husband has best friends that he loves like a brother but he is not "in love with them" nor does he change when in their presence.
