Emotions stirring for #Bosma family today. Friday was 3 year anniversary of Tim's murder, also his mom Mary's birthday. Mother's Day too.

Do you think Dungey would know ahead of time whether DM's defense team was going to present any evidence/witnesses etc? Did he just hear it for the first time? Could TD change his plan on the fly? Seems to me DM is done like dinner and there is an opening for MS to testify and present a one-sided version. This is going to be fascinating either way. MOO

Dungey did not specify who exactly he will call -- just that they will call witnesses.

If MB is in the country still TD should definitely call her.

It's weird how the rich guy got the <modsnip> lawyer. Don't think Pillay did a good job at all - there's posters here that did a better job arguing for DM.

BBM On the upside, at least they only have to sit through one Defense instead of two AND they don't have to listen to some crazy story about how DM wasn't involved. MOO

If everything is liquidated and all or most of the funds are now available to her, rather than testify at this and perhaps one or both of the other upcoming trials, as well as some possible wrongful death civil suits, I think it's very possible that MB has left the country. Probably to the south of France where the Burns family seems to have some family ties.

I think so as well or his side of it whether its true or not is any ones guess. I can imagine they are going to try present he went to steal a car and Tim was shot while Smich was in the Yukon driving. They are going to try get him lowered to accessory after the fact or possibly a lower murder charge.
