I would like to know the specific dates for the stamped forehead photo though.

October 2014?

I am assuming, just as someone stated here.
I thought they were taken before he went missing but not sure. Pictures with him in the green tshirt on though, he is always pictured in background on his own. Where are his friends?

I can't go back and look but in one of the bigger pictures, I thought I saw something written on the picture in that same color ink. So after thinking it was a stamp, I then thought it was actually an ink smudge on the photo, not actually on him. But I didn't pay attention to it enough at the moment. If no one has a chance to look today, I will check tonight when I'm back in.

Yall have a good day!

I thought it was a stamp from the nightclub? Where I live the bouncer stamps your hand before you enter the nightclub, so you can go back and forth and also to let them know you've paid for entry, I don't think they'd stamp your head though as they are strict. However it does look too big to be a handstamp and don't know if you get a stamp to get entry into a club in bulgaria.
So don't know the explanation for this photo.
I definetly think this is Lars.
I don't know exactly where the photos have come from but they are good but I can't really understand the forum but use the translator to english but still find it hard to follow.

The picture of the woman on missing poster is Lars mother?

I saw the picture of I think Lars with something on his forehead. You could be right it being an entrance stamp from a club. Can imagine they put one on your forehead if you want to...little bit tourists pestering, especially when you've taken in to much booze....not to be judgmental at all. Also thought about the blue stuff you use if you playing billiards...

I'm not sure which poster you mean with the woman, but there is one with his mother..with a German text that would be in Engish something like Please contact me!

Really wish there was more I could do to get more awareness out there. I wonder where he is. It does nobody any good by bringing up hearsay from another forum or a possible sighting but find that it does get people talking.

Ok. It's picture 30. The blue on the wall looks like the same color as his head, so I was thinking maybe it was on the photo, rather than in actual person. We used to put our hand stamps on things cause we thought it was funny to mark other people or our own arms with the extra stamp ink. Eh, we used to swap stamp ink to flash and get underage friends in, too. I guess it could be a stamp that was transferred from hand to head

From theGerman forum, an insider posted https://www.allmystery.de/themen/km113211-11

1. It wasnot a wild brawl, but only one or two blows that hit him. There were no visibleinjuries, Lars complained only that he couldn’t hear properly through this ear.

2. The casewas not taken by the police, Lars probably first became aware of the injury thenext morning and probably at that moment didn’t had the need/urgency to displaythose.
3. Theinjury occurred two days before the return flight, but Lars had not beenaffected by this the last few days, so he went on enjoying his holiday. Therewas no need/urgency to see a doctor at this point in time.
4. Approx.3 hours before regular Departure, he started to doubt whether in the air thedamage to his ear could become worse, so he consulted a doctor at the Golden Sands.
5. Thisdoctor demanded a payment around 35 €, which had been announced upfront. Itwould be repaid by the health insurance with a receipt. The doctor referredLars to the specialist in Varna, with a statement that he should not fly for thetime being until the specialist in the hospital had examined him (I think ifthis was a doctor who wanted to cheat on him, he wouldn’t have bothered to sendhim to a specialist/referred him and the amount would have been much higher)
6. Lars wasin his right mind, he only wanted the injury to be treated so that he would notsuffer more injury from the flight.
7. AfterLars was released from the hospital (apparently without being properlytreated), the next day he could have taken, besides a flight back, the bus toGermany (tickets were both paid by the mother).
8. It isincomprehensible why he finally fled, there were no money worries, because hewas able to withdraw money at any time, until he fled.

I don't no what to make of it. A poster says it's taken at 02.07.2014 around 23:30 in the evening in Partystadl Zum roten Pferd, but I can't open the link with the referred picture to check if this is the picture with the green shirt. We don't even know or can verify if it's actually Lars. It's also unclear where the pic is coming from. I think from the disco FB-site or a kind of site like Partyflock, who takes pictures in clubs, disco's and put them on the Internet. They are discussing that somebody should send this pic to LM's missing FB site. It's not on the find Lars Mittank FB site, at least not now.

Hey YellowSunshine, when posting, you can use the "Reply With Quote" option. It helps people, like me, to know who and what you are referring too :)

Thank you for advice, will do that from now on. Sorry I'm new to the forum.

Къде си, Ларс?

"Where are you, Lars?"

Where are you Lars? Lots of people who don't know you are wishing for your safe return home. Please call your mum!

Hi everyone. I am a crime writer who has been interested in this case for years. Every now and then, I check online to see if Lars has been found, but, unfortunately, there's nothing.

I would like to write an article for an American online magazine about Lars and give this case the exposure it deserves. There's there little out there in English, and someone out there must have some information. Firstly, I would like to interview people involved in the search for Lars. If anyone knows the police agency in Germany who are investigating this case or has a contact for Lars' family or friends or anyone who might like to spread the word about this case to a wider audience, please PM me.

Welcome to Ws Sleuthwriter1 !
:welcome3:

Thank you. This looks like a great community who is keeping this case alive. I would like more people to know about this disappearance, but I'm not even sure which police agency is responsible for this case anymore. I hope the case hasn't gone cold.

His mother also hired a private investigator. Bulgarian police, Interpol and Ministry of Foreign Affairs are involved as well.

I think this is a great idea, reach out and spread awareness and hopefully can spread his image further.
