There's more talking in the background earlier in the vid before the door is opened, but it's too muffled to make out so far.

I don't know where the Lacey Swan name came from. But interestingly, one of the other aliases she used was Elexa. Which is old Greek, and a female variant of Elexis, Alexis etc. Meaning: Defender/Helper of Mankind

How old was her Instagram account? By the time I found it, all of the posts were deleted. I did notice though that a lot of her followers seem to be from the Middle East, so I doubt she knew any of her followers IRL. Did anyone here see any of the posts on the Instagram account before they were deleted?

In regards to why she didn’t call 911 from inside the house. Maybe there was a last straw... meaning something significant happened or was threatened to happen in the upcoming days. And she knew it was now or never, and was too scared to call from inside the house. Idk, just a thought.

Also, who and how figured out this was her YouTube account? Unless it was leaked from someone close to the case, the odds of someone finding that account and linking it to her seem like 1 in a million. Are we even sure it’s really her?

The existence of the 17 year old's You Tube videos waa reported on ABC Good Morning America so Im pretty sure the story was checked out as legit. She also could have disclosed to LE herself that she posted videos on youTube and had a couple of Social Media accounts. Also, her Morher had a FB account so that explains access to wifi.

I keep thinking Pirates of the Caribbean, where the heroines name is “Elizabeth Swan” but throughout a ton of the movie they kept calling her, “Miss Swan” pirates of the Caribbean is a Disney franchise...so odds are she was familiar.

Has anyone noticed, if you listen closely to the video with the dogs. You can hear the kids trying to do something in the background and when the door opens it sounds like they're saying something about trying to open a door or something and it being impossible and locked possibly. I couldn't fully make it out as the sound on my computer isn't that great and I don't have headphones.

Yes, something about trying to get into the room, it's impossible and then "Dad locked it again".

Doesn't instagram only let you post pics from the app? If so, that means she had access to a cellphone for a while. I'm wondering why she didn't call 911 from inside the house earlier instead of escaping outside first.

I don´t doubt there was serious abuse going on in that family.
Everything just isn´t as we expected.

I have a question though, maybe it´s a dumb question or it has been covered and I didn´t see it, but: Why didn´t she just go out the door instead of getting out of a window (into some dense bushes - it would have been difficult,)

If the answer is that the door was locked from the inside, why wasn´t the window secured?

I never doubted access to WiFi. I am curious who told the media about the YouTube account, and if it was found by someone, who and how? If she told LE herself, who told the media and why? I do think it makes the most sense for the defense to have leaked the account but idk.

I would assume not from the parents. I don’t know how things work in terms of what and when information gets shared between the defense and prosecution.

The eldest 29 year old was the first to reach out for help in Texas. The 17 year old is the one who escaped through the fly wire & may or may not be the identity on YouTube
