You're spot on. I forgot about Chattanooga. Really, the same profile. Young, American, college graduate. Muslim.

Yep, and we are still awaiting answers from the FBI investigation in the Chattanooga Shooting that will probably never come, imo..

FBI: Motive in Chattanooga shooting may never be released

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The public may never know what motivated a 24-year-old Chattanooga man to kill four Marines and a sailor in an attack on Chattanooga's U.S. Naval and Marine Reserve Center last July.

Investigators have said Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez (muh-HA'-med YOO'-sef ab-DOOL'-ah-zeez) was a homegrown violent extremist but have not offered more details about what motivated the attack.
Speaking to reporters during a visit to Nashville's FBI office on Friday, FBI Director James Comey said the shooting is still under investigation.

Comey said he understands the public interest in the shooting, but he did not know whether there would ever be a public report on it. He said the way the agency investigates sometimes makes it is necessary to keep information secret.

.....blaming guns now on SM......all politics & rhetoric ......ugh!

Or maybe it was the opposite. Could it be possible a terrorist cell was being formed, note the weaponry, and this guy got PO'd enough at someone to use the weapon's stash for his own personal vendetta?

Just a thought, no facts.

This makes the most sense to me, not that any of this makes ANY sense at all!

The jihadist wolfpack wore go-pro cameras to document their massacre at the Inland Regional Center.. Prolly sent it online to ISIS to post on youtube or publish screenshots in their magazine; 'Dabiq' for recruitment purposes..jmo

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/12/03/2-suspects-killed-shootout-san-bernardino-massacre-14-killed/

A law enforcement source told Fox News that the couple were each carrying an AR-15 rifle and and a pistol when they were shot and killed by police after a brief chase in their black SUV about 2 miles from the initial shooting site. The source said the vehicle also contained so-called "rollout bags" with multiple pipe bombs, as well as additional ammunition. The couple also had GoPro cameras strapped to their body armor and wore tactical clothing, including vests stuffed with ammunition magazines.

I do hope that their cellphones/computers, (if they had one) will give le some information. It seems that with them leaving together supposedly to a Dr appointment that she dropped him off at the center and then came back to get him. I wonder if they were in communication while he was sitting there in the conference room. If that is true then I wonder how long (time wise) had past before her return to pick him then go get the weapons and come back again. Or were the weapons in the vehicle the whole time. And how could the mother babysitter not know about the weapons and accessories. jmo idk

So it seems they had the time to go home and dump the footage from the gopros? Crazy.

Ten to 30 minutes passed from when Farook left the banquet and the shooting started, Burguan said.

http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/l...d-Rizwan-Farook-Tashfeen-Malik-360399601.html

Farook's co-worker, Patrick Baccari, was sitting at the same table as Farook at the holiday party. He told The Associated Press employees were taking a break before taking group photos when Farook suddenly disappeared, leaving a jacket draped over his chair. Baccari stepped out to the bathroom when he heard explosions.

I wonder if he was communicating with someone on his phone, because no one seems to know what made him angry yet people there are saying he was angry. If it was planned as le says then it couldn't have been something at the gathering that made him mad. jmo idk

I find it very odd that people are "confused" about the fact that they can't seem to link it to a terrorist act. Isn't that a racist presumption? When white people commit acts like this we don't associate it with some sort of Jihadist movement or Christian fundamentalist mindset. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.

Why is it different just because they happened to be Muslim? They are a crazy group of people that went in for some apparent "revenge" against the people at the center. This is how white people have done the same acts for decades in this country. Why is this one "confusing?" It's sick, wrong, violent, vicious. Yes. Just like when white men have done the same thing.
.......exactly....it certainly has all the makings of an terrorist attack ......if this had happened in France it would be a terrorist attack ...

Born in Chicago. A 100% US citizen, educated, a professional, religious, open to marrying a woman of another religion.

As American as it gets.

Open to other religions doesn't mean much, conservative Muslim men can marry Jewish or Christian women.

....so....is this a terrorist operation or not.....?

Imo, all indicators point to a well planned and meticulously executed mission of jihadist terrorism.. The filming of the heinous massacre via go pro cameras would eliminate a workplace violence motive, imo. I think FBI Director Comey sizes it up best in this article;

Director of the FBI James Comey is warning that ISIS is trying to recruit members over the Internet and then sending messages telling new recruits to kill people.

Comey says ISIS has about 21,000 English-language followers on Twitter in Syria. He said ISIS is trying recruit new members and once they respond, the terrorist group sends them encrypted messages.
The FBI is trying to get help breaking that encryption technology from Silicon valley.

The Islamic radicals encourage the potential recruits to come join their caliphate. But if they can't do that, ISIS has another message for them.
"If you can't come, kill somebody where you are. Kill somebody in uniform, kill anybody," Comey said the messages urge. "If you cut their head off, great, videotape it. Do it, do it, do it."

Baccari described Farook as reserved and said he showed no signs of unusual behavior. Earlier this year he traveled to Saudi Arabia and returned with a wife, later growing a beard, Baccari said.

A fake bomb — a metal pipe stuffed with cloth — was thrown from the SUV during the chase, said Agent Meredith Davis of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Three explosive devices — thought to be real and all connected to one another — were found at the social service center and later detonated by a bomb squad, police said.

If someone decided to commit a terrorist act involving the massacre of random citizens I am pretty sure there is NO RULE that says they can't choose who they want to kill for personal reasons.

Killing infidels for the cause probably works just fine even if you also have a personal grudge against them. Having a partner help you kill 14 of them sounds like way more than a private workplace grudge.

A study of 160 active-shooter situations from 2000 to 2013 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation showed that all but two involved a single shooter. Just six involved women.

David Bowdich, assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles office, said that while investigators had initially ruled out terrorism as a motivation for the attack, they were now considering it.

What about it other than the religion of the people involved makes it Jihadist to you? I'm not saying it isn't. But we haven't heard anything about anything that would make it Jihadist.

His relative interviewed on the news seemed shocked. He didn't seem like a Jihadist fundamentalist?

Or is it just the religion?
