Sounds like some kind of weird aftermarket anti-theft system. I doubt that Toyota would have owners pulling on the T/S lever every time they wanted to start their car.

I did a Google search for "2000 tacoma anti-theft system turn signal lever" and didn't get any results that match what you posted.

I'm sitting in my 2001 Toyota Tacoma it has a clutch over ride button on dash or you have to have it out of gear or clutch engaged to start it. Only extra is the clutch override...never have I seen I anti theft on them ...except for the locking lug nut ..

[emoji237]Always My Own Opinion[emoji4]

When I told the cops who murdered my friends, I didn't tell anyone but immediate family until months later and I've only told two trusted friends since, asking them to not repeat.

The killer and his gf who was with him when he executed my friends left their house the day I told the cops who he is, a picture of him was posted in he paper and I recognized him and know my friends know him. The cops flew immediately to the east coast and his neighbors said they left the night before with their bags.
I won't be identified until they catch him or her alive and have a trial.
I went through a very similar situation as a teenager. Back then, the media was allowed into our school to find us (specifically those of us they wanted to speak with) and the school gave them our pictures. "Greif counselors" we were forced to sit with told our stories to the media. Meanwhile, two killers were still on the loose and I feared for my life. My picture was on the news with my best friend who had been murdered (thanks to my school) and reporters were everywhere. When they couldn't get me or my friends to talk they got random people. They crowded the funeral (I remember giving them the finger). The worst was when a woman approached me and told me what a touching speech I gave (eulogy)...I did not recognize her and asked who she was...she gave her name and said LA Times...Someone restrained me from attacking her and reminded me of the fact we were at a funeral.

Sometimes, I think reporters can be completely insensitive. We did not speak to the media, no did anyone in this case. We were told at the funeral the killers might show up and there would be increased police presance...but I thought in my 14 year old mind, this would be the one time the media would leave us alone.

This was before social media or anything, and I wish people had advocated to not let the media near minors in homicide cases, or any cases without parent approval and to let the school release info goes beyond disgusting. The killers were eventually caught and went to trial...but I found out recently this case had been written about in a true crime book.

I tend to think the people who speak to the media (unless prompted by LE) are looking for their 5 minutes of fame

Two years ago, a minor gave testimony that she was sold for sex in Yuba City.
16. She stated she lived in the Budget Inn for a little, do you know what their normal clientele looks like?

18. The minor said she was drugged, raped, and sold.

I remember seeing some of this somewhere (probably way early on the thread) but can you tell me where I can look this up? Thank you!!!!!

Wow. I'm so sorry that happened to you, what a traumatic experience for a 14 year old, it's crazy the risk your school created for the children they are meant to protect.
I am curious about the book.

A POSSIBILITY?

My narrative:

<modsnip>
A"citizen" (which is odd wording) could have found the cell phone "near the truck" that night. It was never reported that the "citizen" SAW the truck, knew about the truck, etc at the time they found the phone. ***LE won't confirm WHEN the phone was found-- before or after the truck. They were asked at a press conference. http://kogo.iheart.com/articles/california-news-489209/streaming-video-news-conference-missing-gridley-15721903/

The "citizen" powered the on the phone at 4:33am to see whose it was, but it shut off. The fact that they had to power it on, probably means it was dead, and it shut off right away. It was never released if the ping came from the time when the "citizen" powered on the phone. I can see her phone being close to dead, if she was using it from the time she went out to eat at 6:00pm, until the time she left the house at 11:00pm. The drive from the house to the orchard wouldn't have given her much time to charge it in her truck. Maybe the "citizen" powered on the phone on the way to Del Taco- which is VERY close to the field, and open 24hrs, because they got the munchies, or maybe they were just running amuck, at 4:33am and that's when the phone pinged. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/aly-yeoman-vehicle-found_us_58e3b926e4b03a26a3665f68

A judge is required to issue a warrant for cell phone records to be released. (I know this because I wasn't even allowed to get my OWN cell phone records when I asked for them.) LE received and served the warrant for the telephone records first thing Monday morning. This is when they determined that the last ping was at 4:33am, IN OR NEAR the field, and organized the search party. http://www.sacbee.com/news/local/crime/article142483484.html, https://www.google.com/webhp?source...&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#tbm=lcl&q=del+taco+yuba+city

The EARLIEST I can find a news report on her being missing was on Monday the 3rd at 1:13pm. Maybe the "citizen" was going to keep the phone they found, until they saw the report? Maybe they just got around to turning the phone into "a cell phone store" Monday afternoon after they heard the report? The "cell phone store" charged it to determine who's phone it was, and turned it over to LE. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/aly-yeoman-vehicle-found_us_58e3b926e4b03a26a3665f68

LE questioned the "citizen" and they told LE where they found the phone. LE states that the phone was not found with the truck... perhaps because it was already found. Again they stated that they are not releasing the information on when the phone is found by the "citizen." http://www.kcra.com/article/yuba-college-student-reported-missing-from-gridley/9225137 After the truck is found, search crews were searching between the levee and Feather river, which indicates to ME that the direction of the footprints went towards the river. http://fox40.com/2017/04/05/investi...er-aly-yeomans-movements-before-disappearing/ She was last seen the house, and NOT anyone near the river, which leads me to believe that she never made it to the bonfire.

Again, LE is not releasing all of the info, which they have stated in a press conference. (http://kogo.iheart.com/articles/cal...deo-news-conference-missing-gridley-15721903/) Could the REPORTING be skewing our timeline because they are only reporting what they hear?

I know that I am assuming a lot, but what do you guys think??

Several articles mentioned that LE pinged her phone with the help of Sprint. So my guess that it was still on and in the Yuba City area.

The Budget Inn is nasty, sketchy at best. I've heard it referred to as the hooker hotel and no tell motel. They've been that way for years and should've been shut down years ago. From what I've heard it's the preferred cheap place to go do your drugs and/or nasty promiscuity. I also believe it's a transition motel for homeless welfare recipients and transients with nowhere else to go...... <modsnip>

Wonder if the budget motel has been checked

I am a local as well. We own a plumbing business and get called out frequently to the budget for drain cleaning calls. It is a transitional housing motel and is absolutely disgusting. The owners will let the sewage overflow and make the tenants pay for drain cleaning and we will often find needles and other drug items in the lines.

The reference to "river bottoms" is a general location, if you will, in reference to the homeless encampments that have sprouted up literally along the river where the homeless live.

Our river has ran at various stages this winter season and many have heard of the Oroville dam spillway erosion. We had a massive evacuation in this area on February 13. Due to the high level of amounts of water coming down the river, our banks are collapsing.

The term "stripper" is a type of fish.

I also saw Aly almost every morning when I would get my morning beverage. She was a lovely girl with an intoxicating smile.

http://www.kcra.com/article/police-teen-drugged-raped-sold-for-sex-in-4-week-marysville-stay/6421975

"The teen, originally a Boise resident, said she was living in a life-skills facility in Denver this January when she decided to leave. The girl got on a Greyhound bus to Sacramento to live with her uncle in Olivehurst, police said. She stayed with him for one week, then moved to the Budget Inn in Marysville with the intention of living with her aunt, according to officers.

After another week, she met up with Crouch and Campbell, who were dating, at the McDonald's at 316 E St., police said.

The couple lived together at a camp in the river bottoms. They invited the teen to live with them, so she agreed. The girl knew Campbell as an old friend of her late father, and had previously lived with the woman at some point years ago, the news release said.

Once the trio arrived at the camp, Crouch and Campbell gave the girl methamphetamine by needle injection, according to officers.

Several hours later, police said Crouch injected the teen with the pain medication Dilaudid.

As the girl was sedated, Crouch and Campbell raped her, and continued the crimes for about four weeks, police said.

The victim was forced into sex with Crouch several times a day -- who regularly injected the girl with meth and heroin, officers said.

Crouch claimed to be a tattoo artist, and drew on the teen's genitals with ink pens for personal pleasure, the victim reported.

Two separate times, Crouch sold the girl for sex in exchange for money and drugs, police said."

Campbell is in Folsom State Prison. Crouch is in Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga.

The Marysville river bottoms and the live oak river bottoms where the truck was located are approximately 14 miles apart.

I'm going to post the updated Timeline - if the Mods want to delete - go ahead! Still having heard from Tricia.

If you have ANY updates or corrections - please let me know! :tyou:

TIMELINE:

March 29th, Wednesday - Spoke to "ex" boyfriend Leo A. He says he spoke to his old love last Wednesday, the day before she was last spotted driving on Romero Street in Yuba City. "She pours out her feelings on me like what's in her mind... her stresses and stuff like that. And maybe she just wanted, maybe she went over there to walk and clear her head and from there ... I don't know what happened. That's what we're trying to find out," he said. Link: http://fox40.com/2017/04/04/search-efforts-continue-for-missing-college-student/
BUT! According to her Uncle, David - he is NOT her ex-boyfriend, but a stalker according to what Aly told him. Link: https://www.facebook.com/findalyciayeoman/posts/1673555786006074

March 30th, Thursday, about 6pm - Aly has dinner at "Taste of India" with friend (37 year old man, Mike L.) in Yuba City. Investigators say Yeoman and her friend went back to his home on Romero Street in Yuba City, and hung out with the man's son and daughter, who is Yeoman's age. They were also joined by a young couple.

from 2nd article: Ramirez and his father spotted Yeomen’s truck stuck in a muddy ditch off Pennington road Friday morning. Initially, they didn’t think much of it, but then they made the connection. “We walked up to it, recognized it, and we backed up and called 911.
