Could it have been an accident? Boy accidently drowned while Dad unconscious, not paying attention, sleeping on the shore? Theres lots of peeps who fish there early morning and throughout the day. The lake is huge. If your going to hide a body why in a lake in plain view? Unless he put him in there at night.

If they didn't leave Disney til midnight it is likely that AA was definitely tired and fell asleep as soon as they pulled out of the parking lot. Something could have happened and Dad drove directly to the lake to rid of the body since it would have been night time. Then tells detectives "They spent the day there" when in reality he went to hide evidence. Then went on a drinking or drug binge to try to forget or overdose. Maybe went to the park to reminisce? Just my thoughts.

His car was seen in Orange County the next day, so he didn't leave and head north after they left Disney. More than likely stayed with family or at a motel and left OC sometime Friday and headed up to the lake.

I forgot that little detail. Thank you!

in a contested custody battle, the exchange is commonly an issue. there are arguments between parents, parents bringing new significant others that pisses other parent off, no end to the nuances of the "exchange". when my husband went through court the first time, mom made wild false allegations so he started filing her on his phone at all exchanges. he then told the judge he had video proof she was lying and they didn't care! they even had to pay a person to exchange the kids for awhile. mom was all for it until she found out she had to pay half! anyways in this case it may well be gma and dad causing issues, who knows.

Watch this video. There is a court document there that says something about concern about the grandmother's behavior.

I don't see a court doc. What does it say?

(Giving this a shot) Major issue is a dispute (?) concerning the grandmother's conduct and (what appears to read) allegations concerning appropriateness of conduct at father's house... (can't read the rest)

It's around the 1:33 mark. I can't read it thoroughly because my stupid computer keeps locking up.

Here is a screenshot of the court document

Major issue is a dispute concerning the grandmothers conduct and allegations concerning the appropriateness of conduct at both fathers home and mothers home. Major issue is also conduct at transfers. But all issues on the table

So...let me see if I have this straight. Thursday into midnight on Friday they are at Disneyland. His car is spotted in OC on Friday (is Grandma still with them at this point?), and then some time on Friday, the father is tracked to Lake Cachuma ? Saturday morning, he's found passed out (ahem) by his vehicle at the park, and the kid is just gone? And Dad doesn't remember anything?

Right.

What is your gut telling you Kat?

I think there is something fishy with the Grandma. IMO. I would like to believe that if she was seen with them at Disneyland and now the little boy is no where to be found, she would be talking with police and there would be more info on where she was/what she was doing. I would think she would be working on clearing her name as much as possible instead of hiding out and not commenting. And maybe there is more to her story that we just don't know about yet.

The best-case scenario here would be if the grandmother is hiding the little boy somewhere w/ someone else, but would she let her son go on trial for murder to keep the boy away?
