I had the same thoughts! I initially thought of Ana and what she and her family must make of this whole scene and then I thought oh Lord I bet he loves that thought! Sick!

I still want to know if this idiots mother has had anything to say yet. I can't find anything on her and I can't even remember her name! Surely it's been mentioned somewhere but everything I find just says "grandmother". I'm surprised media hasn't been on her lawn requesting statements... or have they? Lol

Yes there's a video of her. I think it's been posted but I'll look for it. She acts extremely annoyed and says something like "they ask for pictures I give them pictures" like it's such a huge burden and favor to provide investigators pictures of her missing grandson and what more do they expect her to do.

Mainly talks about how bad her son and herself are treated, doesn't say anything warm or loving about her grandson, in fact seems upset that it's the grandson's fault her poor son is being attacked and accused. I don't think we're allowed to question family who are not officially suspects so I'll keep my opinion about g-ma.

Really? That's like admitting to the crime imo but giving the excuse that he was insane. He thinks he will get away with that but in my opinion the evidence will show it was planned out and an insane person wouldn't be able to thoughtfully plan it all out last he he did.

I found a link and audio is good. Seems like he misunderstood the judge and perhaps thought the judge was making a joke first. Idiot. NOBODY is joking with you!

If you still can't make it out, the judge says CA has 30 days starting from today to pick him up and given the media's involvement they're going to come get him (implying soon). IMO he thought the judge said the media was coming after him and he joked that they'd be the ones taking him back.

Makes me sick that he could be there joking on such a serious charge and keeping in mind his son has not been found. Even if he were innocent, shouldn't be laughing and looking smug.

He is seeming more and more like Casey Anthony and the freedom of how they both desperately wanted to be free and single and acted after the kids were dead. Remember the "Bella Vita" tattoo? A beautiful life. This tattoo was after she killed Carlee.

Casey lied to her family about going to work everyday at Disneyland. He lied to his wife about being a Dean at the tech school. It was a con. Both enjoyed partying and socializing, after killing and dumping Caylee, and Ara. I wonder if he followed the CA case and saw how she got away with murder? He thinks it will work for him as well and be a free man.

It is interesting Disneyland & Disneyworld were involved in both cases. LE thinks he planned it so possibly he wanted to take little Ara and his Mom to Disneyland for show knowing all along he was going to kill little Ara. Taking vids and photos of having such a wonderful time and being a loving father to use as an alibi when it was nothing more but for show so that he would not be accused.

This is a sickening, pathetic little man who is a psychopath like CA

Good point. This is so true. Lake Cachuma is a huge lake. Needle in a haystack.

Just like Michael McCarthy maybe he owned weights that are missing? Could be in evidence? LE tends to keep what the know close to the vest.

I was bothered by 2 statements in the news conference yesterday. The fact LE really believes he was attempting suicide when I think it was part of the show, and when they stated they searched the whole lake. I don't think they've searched the whole lake that would take lots of time and people. They've only done 2 relatively short searches there, the first one only the part of the lake he was last scene.

I'm not familiar with the CA case other than she was acquitted. Is there a particular reason for that or too complicated?

Insane enough to do what he did and sane enough to hide little Ara so cleverly......Not going to work!!
 
MOO - I don't think he was trying to commit suicide. I think he was trying to cover up the smell/evidence in the car. If he was suicidal, he's had 68 days to take his own life. I think he was planning to skip town all along. One thing I don't get is if he had plans to kill his own son, why did he choose now to do it? Why not any time during the past year of the divorce? They had shared custody.
