Are ya flattered a lil, steelman? I've learned so much following your posts over that last couple of weeks as they've searched for the Knutsons, Paul and Dianna.
I might feel a little flattered if they had actually found 'em, but I'm really disappointed that they haven't. Every day that ticks off the calender is another day closer to this not being a rescue mission, but more of a recovery mission.
I'm still under the assumption that since the Knutson's were in charge of the desserts for the party, they may have had an ice chest or a cooler full of cookies, cake or brownies in the car with them. They were at the casino for hours, you would think they would have had the stuff iced down in someway, not just baking in a hot car out in the parking lot. Were they to crash and be trapped inside the car, if they could gain access to the cooler or it's contents, it might help to keep them alive until they were found.
But two full weeks is a long time to live off of cookies and bottled water, even for a young healthy person. It may all just be wishful thinking on my part anyway, but just because their car went off the road and got disabled, doesn't necessarily mean that it wasn't a survivable accident. They could be trapped inside the vehicle, or, it is in an area that is too treacherous for them to try and summon help.
The people out searching are the ones doing all the sweating and the legwork......all I can do is try to keep the cheering section alive. If they need to use our ideas in order to help find these people, then it will have all been worth it.
BTW--Below is the Facebook page for the P.I. in charge of the search, Bill Garcia. He doesn't update it all that often, but he does comment about the search off and on.

Also, Paul was a marine corps veteran, he should have some survival skills.
