Okay guys, here's the deal. Yes, Websleuths is Victim Friendly. So what does that mean for this case?
In this particular case, LE has asked for independent sightings of the little girl in the
last 30 days. They have put up crime scene tape around the father's home and last I heard, were awaiting a search warrant, but it sounds like they may have now gone in and processed. The father was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment in specific relation to this case.
So...we allow discussion of Daphne's father and his actions. You can discuss his behavior and what happened, as it relates to the case. You may not attack or bash him. We do not accuse him of anything. We do not even call him a suspect. And sleuthing him and his past is NOT open, because he has NOT been named a
suspect, just charged with NEGLIGENCE. But yes, of course we can discuss him. He was the last one to see Daphne and his story doesn't quite add up. Even to LE and MSM. In case you're interested in the specifics, here's our Victim Friendly policy...
Victim Friendly
Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way and
ONLY IF IT IS RELEVANT TO THE CASE. Additionally, sleuthing family members that are not suspect is not allowed. Don't make random accusations or post personal information (even if it is public) like parking tickets, address, or first and last names of all their relatives and their neighbors. Also, never "bash" or attack them, or accuse them of involvement. However that does not mean that family members cannot come into discussion as the facts and issues of the case are discussed.
