That may be the case, but I still stand with my question.

Why has not a media Outlet said what he was doing the for those so many years?

If he was a stay-at-home dad, I would think an investigative journalist would have said something.

But not one media Outlet, in this whole story, has exposed such. Why?

Maybe MSM hasn't tried to find the answers to your question. Or perhaps they have but getting that kind of information is difficult for them.

I'm sure that LE knows the answer to these questions they simply have no reason to release that information yet.

I have no idea how to find out where DeAngelo lived and worked decades ago. JMO.

The only things I have heard Paul Holes mention in one of the latest shows about DeAngelo's known whereabouts and activities between 1979 and 1990 (besides, of course, his crimes) is:

1- DeAngelo was living in So Cal at some point during that time period, though Holes didn't say where exactly or from when to when or if he lived with relatives or not.

2- The daughter that was born in 1986 was born in... oh, damn I forget. Long Beach? (I don't think he said Whittier, but he may have)

2- DeAngelo did, however, buy a handgun in Whittier. (I think in 1987)

Will L.E. say what they know when they know, or will they wait for the trial? That might be three or more years, and I wanna know sooner rather than later. Well, I'm sure all inquiring minds wanna know sooner rather than later.

One question, though, regarding your post... if DeAngelo were a "secreter", how would that help L.E. identify him any sooner than they did if his DNA wasn't in any databases for L.E. to compare to? Thanks.

If he was a secretor then his blood type would have been known from his bodily fluids, quite a long time before DNA became main stream.

My point was whether he had any possible medical issues linked to his non secretor status.

Auburn focus in HBO Golden State Killer documentary

HBO took notice after the firestorm of news reports on the arrest went global and soon chose director Liz Garbus, a two-time Oscar nominee, two-time Emmy winner and Peabody winner, to tell a story that will focus not only on DeAngelo but the places worked and lived. Garbus is one of the most celebrated American documentary filmmakers working today.

That story arc will be bringing Garbus and her production company Moxie Firecracker Films to Auburn and other communities to ferret out what people remember about a cop who is now suspected with terrorizing a state as the so-called Golden Gate Killer.

It's strange isn't it? It must be known what he was doing but no hint at all. It must be important to the investigation if they are not sharing it. I also wonder if it has anything to do with his non secretor status, which is partly the reason he went unidentified for so long.

I don't know if knowing his blood type would have helped identify him any more than discovering any medical issue tied to him being a non secretor.

Is their some kind of rare "non secretor" disease that would have helped LE identify DeAngelo sooner?

Secretors and Non-secretors Disease Susceptibility
"Non-secretors have a potential health disadvantage. They possess many metabolic traits such as carbohydrate intolerance, immune susceptibilities."
"The non-secretors have highest clotting time, thick blood, high amount of factor VIII and von Willebrand factor (vWf) and low bleeding time."

"Non-secretors are more prone to the diseases caused by the oral bacteria in the digestive system of an individual. It includes ulcers, celiac diseases gastric carcinoma pernicious anemia etc. It could lead to dysplasia or increase in the number of cavities present in the digestive tract. Non-secretors are less resistant to the infection caused by Helicobacter pylori which could lead to the formation of peptic and duodenal ulcers. It could easily colonize and cause inflammation in the non-secretors.

Knowing the perps blood type would have linked the cases back in the '70's and 80's. Because he was a non secretor, they did not know blood type, did not connect the cases and he escalated to rape and murder.

Non-secretor's have a propensity for alcoholism and duodenal ulcers among other things.

I see dotr has provided a link.

My point was he may have been undergoing some medical treatment during those years and maybe MSM cannot publish it due to privacy issues perhaps. Many of the '80's victims had a medical connection.

( TY dotr - I was reading that and just about to link it.)

Linking the crimes is not how he was caught this year and a doubt it would have helped decades ago. JMO

Interesting.

So potentially DeAngelo had these problems and LE could have somehow gotten warrants to search peoples medical records to identify him.

Probably too many people with those conditions, but am reminded of this peculiar exchange GSK had with a waitress.
Assuming cheese caused him problems.. imo. rbbm.
‘It’s Eerie’: Citrus Heights Cafe Owner Says Alleged Golden State Killer Was a Regular
"Joseph DeAngelo often ordered a tuna salad, sometimes with an angry outburst, Carte told KTXL.

"The second time I served him his tuna salad he threw the cheese on the table," Carte said. "And I said, 'What's wrong?' He's like, 'What are you trying to do, kill me? I can't eat cheese. I told you before.'"

What an angry man!:(:(
Besides the many alleged crimes, he must have had numerous ugly incidents throughout his life, where his anger was a major problem.
Probably now in prison, the wardens will experience this: unless he now acts, as a 'frail man', who only recently WAS NOT: bike rides, building a table etc.
Hope he is given cheese :D and this is recorded.
