#BREAKING Officials confirm to KCAL that body of female child found in San Diego dumpster is missing Long Beach baby, Eliza Delacruz.

:tears:

Too much for my hormones. My baby just turned 2 weeks old today.

Who would do such a terrible thing?

I am 11 weeks pregnant with a baby that took us 2 years to conceive.
I don't think my hormones can handle this either.
I will fry the person that did this myself. :twocents:

:anguish: Oh little Eliza. You deserved a long, happy life and all the wonderful experiences that should have come along with it. Playing outside in the sunshine, making friends at school, your first date, first kiss, I could go on and on. The one thing you didn't deserve was this! :rose: fly with the angels little one. They HAVE to find the MONSTER that did this!

So maybe he didn't intend to kill anyone, only punish them and make them unable to stop the kidnapping?
I cannot think of another case like this.
People always say that babies don't get kidnapped because of drug deals gone bad.
Babies don't get kidnapped for revenge.
So what the hell is going on here then? :furious:

I would imagine we will end up seeing at least one more dead body...

Sick, sick, sick! I am wondering if this is a jealous ex-lover; someone who couldn't stand to see this family unit happy. But honestly, I can't understand how anyone could have harmed this precious infant!

That has happened before, with the ex girlfriend killing both the mother and baby.
I cannot think of one where a baby was abducted and killed like this.
Only in cases where a woman was desperate for a child... or it was a parent.
Can anyone think of one?

I believe there may have been one that was older murdered by a neighbor. But I can't think of a newborn.

This is heartbreaking

LBPD is asking anyone with info on who killed 3-week-old Eliza Delacruz and wounded her parents and uncle to call Crimestoppers 800-222-TIPS

Just saw an interview w/a detective on local news. He said the wounded family membrs had no criminal records, no gang affiliations, nor was there any evidence of drugs in the home. He said they are very devastated and frightened and have no idea who would have done this.

That poor mother in the hospital. I cannot even imagine how depressing and heartbreaking this must be for her. :rose:

I just cannot accept that this monster would steal a newborn just to kill her immediately and throw her in a dumpster. And if it is trur that it is not gang or drug affiliations then what?

I am wondering if it was someone that wanted to sell a newborn on the black market. Reportedly they can bring in hundreds of thousands for a healthy and very young baby. Or maybe he wanted the baby for a woman who he loved that lost her baby. MAYBE he intended to take her to be cared for. But perhaps he did not know how to care for her, or what to feed her or not feed her? Could she have died while he was hiding and waiting to cross the border?

I've been thinking of her all night, I was heartbroken to see her name in the "found" section. What on earth is the reason for her murder? To be tossed into a dumpster?? OH MY GOSH.

I pray they find the person that did this, he need to be strung up by his toenails.

Rest peacefully, sweetheart. You didn't deserve this.

Imperial Beach is where I grew up. I have quite a few friends who are still there, and they are heartbroken over this. It's awful :( I can't imagine this happening there.

I keep typing and deleting....I just can't find the right words. :-(
