Also, I remember reading that Jamie said the baby usually wakes up once a night around 2-2:30 AM.
I am in no way supporting MG, but I have 5 children, and I have more than once checked on them at every possible hour of the night. I am a light sleeper though, and if I get up to pee or get a drink, or even if I heard the dogs bark outside, I check on my baby while I am up.....whether it's 2am, 3am, 4am or so on. Sometimes I get a wild hair and check on all my kids, even the 3 older boys upstairs and my daughter downstairs. Sometimes I check the doors again when I'm up. Heck, I've even been known to rotate laundry just because I got up to pee. [emoji3] [emoji3] My hubby? Never does any of this, but he's not me and we have completely different sleeping patterns.
It makes no sense that someone broke in and took Ember without detection. If MG is completely innocent then someone had to have had a key to the trailer - assuming doors were locked . It sounds like the couple were reuniting - could a jealous girlfriend have been involved and he recently broke up with her and she retaliated? Wasn't there a similar situation a while back that also ocurred in a trailer?
I highly doubt this but and we probably would have heard mention of an ex especially on FB. I am getting the feeling that this was another case of a shaken baby or maybe even smothered if she was lying in a bed versus a crib. Dad panicked and baby goes missing . Maybe he was not totally on board with her moving back and the pressure /stress resulted in actions that he didn't intend but nevertheless did.
I've seen so many cases take strange twists that I can appreciate other theories. . Maybe a predator was in the area or someone wanted revenge for whatever reason but I would be shocked if the Mom was involved in this one. A fussy baby who normally awakes at 2:30 am should be getting up that time and if she was gone by then - I would think some noise would be made trying to break in or leave with her.
I can see the dad putting the baby to bed and knowing she would get him up, went to bed himself. Waking up at 5am he panicked realizing that she never woke at 2am and went to go check on her finding her gone.
A stretch but possible.
I am a checker as well, I always check on my babies (I even have a teenager) when I am up at night. Checking on your kids is a normal, natural thing to do.

The Graham family said they haven't given up hope that Ember is alive. They are standing behind Matthew Graham as they continue to say there is no way Graham would hurt his daughter.
The Graham family has connections to the Sheriff's Office, Matthew's mother Sheila is a former deputy, and she too is standing behind her son.
"I think you you know we have to look in every different avenue, every possibility, whether she's out there and someone has her alive or if she's out there," said Amber Graham, a relative to Ember.
