Daugherty called Lee's molestation accusation "asinine garbage." And Erin's so-called "confession" to Lee?
"This NEVER happened."
He then asked the jury the rhetorical question:
"If a man who crafts lies to suit his own needs and to everyone important in his life, what do you think he's going to do to you?"
Daugherty then put Lee's mugshot up on the screen, showing him as the overweight, slovenly, bearded, wife-beater wearing ex-Marine he was when he was arrested for murdering Erin. Quite the contrast from the slim, clean-cut, well-dressed young man seated at the defendant's table.
They never tested Nichole's DNA, they didn't exclude Nichole.
That's the second time Nichole's "alibi" was mentioned. Where is this alibi. Anyone have a link?
Do you have a link for that?
See, it doesn't work. You can't ask for links to something which is obviously unlinkable.

She was a mother with a young child. She lived on the base---where everyone can see everything that goes on. Her alibi would have been checked out right at the start. Especially since she said she 'didn't care if Erin was dead or not.' I am quite sure that LE was able to ascertain that she was home with her child and doing her daily routine of school/actvities and/or errands. If she had asked a neighbor to watch her daughter and had driven off base and been gone for any length of time, they would have known and looked at her as a serious suspect.
What you have stated are merely presumptions describing logical explanations of an alibi for NL. These aren’t known facts. She was a mother with a young child. I wish we would have had more detailed coverage of the trial. I suspect we missed many questions and answers which would have cleared up some of the confusion.
A logical question for the DA to ask would have been, what was Erin doing when he attacked her with the garotte? Is this possibly where the skull fracture comes into play?
I have no doubt this murder was premeditated. But enough common sense to know that what you might plan, might not be the way it actually happens in real life. He clearly lied about the way it down. Snippets of the truth to match the evidence, the rest was to save his azz.
If it was that simple, there's no earthly reason not to share such info with the jury. And "because LE must have found one" is not a link to her alibi.
I have to say I was really disappointed in the media coverage of the trial. I understand that San Bernadino Co isn't a huge media market, but for that reason exactly I thought a local crime reporter would have surely latched onto the trial and tweeted to oblivion. I really feel like we missed a lot of important detail. Erin's tragic story has all the hallmarks of a juicy media story - I mean she was on the cover of People for goodness sake! And hardly any tweeting [emoji20] Beth did a good job with wrap ups, but after Christina Morris' trial and Ross/Cooper Harris I guess we just got spoiled?
Praying for swift jury deliberation and justice for Erin!

Re: posters here who really hate Nichole or love ChrisI can't decide if we have posters here who really hate Nichole or love Chris. Interesting. Does it seem logical that Chris would, on the stand, confess to killing Erin if he didn't actually do it?
I don't think so.
