I hope the condition of Erin's remains will allow for determination of manner of death. lease: ---don't want a slimy defense attorney saying "OMG she fell"
I hesitate to ask this, but did they say whether the remains were skeletonized or not? I was just wondering, um, what the would have to work with for the autopsy. In Tennessee, caves are generally cool - around 59 degrees - all the time. I've only been west once, so I wonder what it's like down in those mines and whether it would help preserve her or speed up decay.
Geothermal gradient is the rate of increasing temperature with respect to increasing depth in the Earth's interior. Away from tectonic plate boundaries, it is about 25 °C per km of depth (1 °F per 70 feet of depth)

I hope he dropped something of his down the mine.
As it is, sounds like he was stupid enough to leave his phone on, or something that allowed LE to follow his movements. A reminder that many criminals are very stupid, as well as evil and trivial people. Jmo

I read what you have read - I HAD to post on there - people just make me sick!
True. I think that's what the Lee's were banking on. But karma came back to bite Joran with his next murder- he left the body, didn't have time to escape with her.
I hope CL was stupid enough to put his gun down there. I think that even if it isn't, LE has enough evidence already, and no doubt will gather more evidence.
