A car found at a Granada Hills drug house is believed to be linked to the disappearance of Fox executive Gavin Smith.

A gray SUV found by DEA agents at a marijuana grow house is the same vehicle homicide detectives were looking for in the case.

The vehicle is registered to Jon Creech, a suspected drug dealer whose wife allegedly had an affair with Smith.

The SUV was impounded and will be examined for fingerprints and biological evidence.

Creech is currently jailed on unrelated drug charges, but he was free when Smith disappeared.

Police searched Creech’s home back in June 2012 in connection with Smith’s disappearance.

Well, it appears that John Creech hid this vehicle from cops all this time. I bet it has been cleaned from top to bottom and steam cleaned all the carpets. Hopefully if blood was in the truck, it can still be detected.
 
John Creech again. What are the odds??? They need to check this area thoroughly. That Mercades is somewhere. Unless he left it in a bad neighborhood and it got stolen and taken to a chop shop.

I would be shocked if that car is still in one piece. This Creech guy obviously had drug connections that didn't care what was going on elsewhere, as long as they could manufacture and deal. Getting rid of a car that could cause them trouble was probably no problem at all. All they needed was a connection with his own shop and a welding torch.

Especially since the pic appears to be taken as she lies on a bed (probably a self-portrait) from her cellphone.

Of the POIs, she is absolutely, most possibly, directly involved in Gavin's disappearance, in my opinion -- even more so than Johnny Creech.
 
I hope LE is tightening the noose around the two of them. They definitely seem to be involved in Gavin's disappearance. I'm praying that LE is building their case that is solid and can't be breeched.

Well, John will never fold because it would mean even more jail time for him. Right now he has it easy with just the drug charge. The cops are going to have to put the squeeze on Chandrika. She is still free and has kids….who I would hope she cares about losing. Of course if she played a role, she will not give away anything either.

I wish Chandrika had a twitter account so we could monitor it.
 
I grew up in Sunland/Tujunga, it's always eerie hearing about all the people dumped/buried up in Angeles Crest. I spent countless hours driving up there as a teen since we didn't have much of anything else to do. Anywhoo...
Not sure if anyone else said this but, Granada Hills is really close to Sylmar, (Slime-ar is what we used to call it as a joke) and depending on the freeway (could be the 118), he could have been on his way there...

Funny, I read the news story about the missing girl being found in the ravine (she was driving home late at night after a new year's party, I believe), but they said nothing about the investigation they were actually there for. I suppose it wasn't important at the time, to the news team.
 
It has to be the absolute worst thing to go through…wondering where your loved on is after he/she just disappeared, especially when it is a child. No parent should ever have to go through that.

Hopefully if Gavin has met his end, he will be found so this family can have some closure.
