Thanks for the articles! My brother used to work for the city of SD and he said it was so corrupt, he's happy to be gone from there. He wasn't ever directly involved with the PD but I wondered how far the corruption spread. I hope it doesn't hurt this case.

Jumping off your post nikb! Beyond the public scandal within SDPD for those who are not aware we also just elected this month a new Mayor as our previous Mayor just resigned due to a HUGE sexual scandal. It seems non stop! I'm certain we have many awesome and dedicated LE working for us but these types of scandals do affect all city workers. I can only pray that this case is still going full speed ahead and I do believe something will come out soon as GB autopsy report should be completed soon if it hasn't already. Still is not updated on the Riverside Coroners site.:facepalm:

SDHELPS, I believe your are right. The police chief usually sets the tone of an important case. Authorizing or allocation of man hours and followup, plus adding their wisdom and experience. With him dedicating much of his time doing damage control and press conferences, he couldn't possibly be a positive influence on this case or others. JMO

You are spot on with this jggordo! I can say from personal experience that when a significant scandal rocks your work place...lack of production, confidence and a need to detach from them takes hold of you. My former employer was a national company and one evening watching the news I found myself watching my direct boss taken away in handcuffs. He is now serving 10 yrs in federal prison for child *advertiser censored*. I was horrified and disgusted to the point of being sick and although he was never again seen at the office I had to quit for my own health reasons.

You pose a lot of great questions that we have "skirted" around in the past. The reason I use the term "skirted" is that since a POI has never been released by LE in MSM we are not allowed to sleuth or discuss friends and family of GB, SB or IF under the TOS rules here. We only discussed AB as he was in MSM early on during the vigils. Unless he is named as POI we can't openly discuss him in terms of any involvement in the deaths.

I'm sure you can feel our frustration in not being able to openly discuss anything new here since LE hasn't brought anything new to the table. There is speculation that we should hear something from LE or the families fairly soon. We will have to see...

IMO AB is not a POI but more so someone wanting the 15 minutes of fame. If we can get bestinthewest as a verified insider here maybe we can talk more about AB and the families.

Hmm what if
You have some compelling points. AB certainly has had some behaviors that are interesting. And it's interesting that you bring up his leaving the SD area. One of the things about using FB content to make a point is that person can go in and delete it. There is no way memorialize it. Not like MSM or LE press releases that are archived.

I believe LE at this point (I hope) has enough video footage that they can rule in or out some people that might be of interest. They can now do video overlays of a suspect over the image of the suspect of interest, and check for likeness of height, weight etc.. I'm sure a lot of things have been done in the background that we don't know about.

It's important, IMO not to place anyone in a position that they would need to "exonerate" themselves to us or anyone else. We can have ideas, opinions etc. but have to make sure it is clearly expressed that way. It is frustrating, and I have crossed the line a time or two myself and have had help here as to how to have them safely.

Also, if there is any CCV evidence - "why haven't they been released to the public?" Obviously they haven't a clue who did this or they'd have made an arrest by now. Releasing a video snapshot of the 'hoodie' guy and asking for the publics assistance I believe is overdue. Chances are of course - the description didn't come from video but from witnesses on the scene.

Does anyone recall the 2001 Santana HS Shootings, (Charles "Andy" Williams was the shooter)?
In that story a man named, Christopher Edward Reynolds, was the adult who overheard Williams planning his attack the night before.
Reynolds did nothing to prevent it.
After the shootings Reynolds steps forward and basks in his 15 minutes for several months.
The public hated him.
I suspected Reynolds was a 'child predator' from the get go.
I offered my suggestion to PD.
Reynolds went another ten years molesting young boys until he was finally caught.
I was the first to report the connection to SDPD and 10News.
An investigation was begun and Williams at the time denied he'd been molested by Reynolds...until now.

For well over a decade I had a hunch so strong concerning Reynolds it haunted me.
I'm having a similar hunch about AB...(and I don't know why, I just am)...so, I was wondering if anyone else felt the same, or do we eliminate AB and move on to other ideas? Thank you.

We do know the person seen leaving in the Honda had been reported in the mall at various times so why nothing about the parking lot? IMO they have nothing captured there. In all other crimes LE is certainly good about releasing even the grainiest of photos?

I do remember the Santana High shooting and the public being very hard of the father for years. Thank you for posting the links and especially the one with the interview of AW in jail. Such a tragic story and so many lives ruined.

Ohhh all of these posts were a good read. I think the autopsy on Gianni has been completed. It doesn't take that long to do one. In my opinion the into released to the public it might just be what Sdpd knows obviously there is a reason an arrest hasn't been made. I'm working on getting verified it's just this app on my phone hates me so in the mean time to keep Bessie from shaking her finger at me I'm going to go the my opinion route and the hypothetical way. Let's say hypothetically based on the family having that fund they struggled to put 10k up even with donors due to funeral costs and medical bills just thinking of being hit with those costs and just general costs associated with deaths are so high and let's say Sdpd isn't the brightest crayons in the box and ego's are in the way and they don't want the public to see how incompetent they are they then expect this devastated family to come up with more reward money for the crime stoppers fund hence the family still seeking donations but the ironic part is Sdpd does not want the family talking to the media. Don't get mad at me Bessie im trying! Hopefully i get verified soon
