Despite active pursuits on social media for many years now, the families of five young men who went missing in the San Francisco, California area over the past several years still have few answers. Jackson Miller, missing May 15, 2010, Cameron Remmer, missing October 6, 2011, Shawn Dickerson, missing December 2, 2011, Crishtian Hughes, missing February 7, 2013, and Sean Sidi, missing May 21, 2013, all vanished from various areas of San Francisco without a trace. Leads and searches have unearthed virtually no clues in any of their cases, but members of every family have banded together to help in the search efforts and cope with their shared grief.

Sheriff's office reports possible sighting of man missing since 2010 in Woodland

April 12, 2021
A Bay Area man missing since 2010 may have been spotted in Woodland, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Nearly 11 years after Miller was last seen, a woman reported a man approached her outside a Target store in Woodland and asked for a cigarette and a ride to Sacramento on March 26. The woman did not give him a ride, investigators said.

The woman said the man told her he was a missing person and said his name was Jackson, according to officials.

The man was seen on surveillance video exiting the Target wearing black pajama pants with a shamrock pattern and a green pullover sweater.

Anyone with information about Miller’s whereabouts or the man seen at the Woodland Target is asked to contact the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office investigations division at 408-808-4500.

“To this day, however, Jackson Miller’s parents are confident their son didn't plunge to his death at the Golden Gate Bridge nearly 11 years ago.

‘They checked all their surveillance — nobody jumped that day,’ Paul Miller said.

Miller’s father said officials told them CCTV cameras later captured his son boarding a bus.

‘They can actually see the car he drove in, he then walked to a nearby bus stop, a bus came up, and he was gone out of the view of the video,’ Paul Miller said.

Days later, further ‘credible’ sightings of an individual matching Miller's description began to surface elsewhere in San Francisco, his said.

‘At least, it wasn’t 100% that he jumped,’ Paul Miller stated. ‘And it looked like he was still in the area for a few days and who knows what happened after that.’

However, the case went dormant for years, leaving the Miller’s in a painful limbo.

‘It’s been very difficult,’ Paul Miller described. ‘It’s unresolved but I’d rather have hope than to know 100% that he’s gone.’”

If you look at the pictures of Jackson before he went missing you can see he has a widows peak as does the person in the surveillance shot.

I think that may well be him

I was thinking the same thing. I looked to see his older pictures, expecting to immediately think no. But they both have the widow’s peak, and I didn’t see anything (above the mask anyway) that looked too different. I’m hopeful for his family!

The man in Target looks just like him- what has become of this… has there been anymore sightings? Or is it a lookalike pretending to be Jackson?
