That's the lack of interaction I was thinking off. Being isolated all the time, not having gone to school, etc. I hope the girls can adjust to being "normal" after all these years.

Let's hope that's what's taking place now. With the guidance of professionals, and without the presence of PG, perhaps getting the two girls to first interact with their mother and grandmother first is the goal.

If the girls looked to PG for permission for everything, and Jaycee's role as parent was minor (because of PG's dominance), they now need to lean on Jaycee and their grandmother.

Yes! They lost valuable time that would have been better spent in pursuit of the kidnapper.

I saw some speculation in another thread about how people wonder if Jaycee may have other children out there. I have wondered that same thing and this brings me to my question for you guys. Does anyone else besides me wonder if he used her as a sex slave and to possibly bear children for the sole purpose of abusing them? I hate to even be thinking this but it has been on my mind and I am wondering if anyone else feels the same way. It's just very odd to me that Jaycee is alive after 18 years when the LE is investigating other deaths.

I'm not sure which topic to post this under, so mods please move as appropriate. Just wanted to share that we went over to Walnut Avenue this afternoon/evening, spent about an hour. They have Garrido's house boarded up. A police car from Antioch PD, one from Pittsburg PD, a command center from Pittsburg PD, and the news vans/satellites were on the street. Very few officers on the property at that time. Honestly, not much going on but was told more search will be carried out tomorrow.

I took several pictures of the front of the house, the neighbors house, and the neighbors backyard looking towards the Garrido house. They might not be the best quality as they were with my cell phone, but I could post them in the Pictures thread if anyone wants to see them.

I'm not sure. I found this, but it looks like the twiching etc. is more to do with when they are high.

Well that tells me that LE (and even more so) the FBI dont' want ANYONE being able to look through ANY WINDOW in that house. Interesting. The parole officer said he had been there a few times over the years and never saw ANY sign that it was other than just PG, NG and his mother (a few years back) - so no signs of children or weirdness or anything. So, why board the windows? Does anyone know if Luminol once sprayed and lit under the blacklight stays on the surface - IOW can you "see it" after the blacklight is off? does it kinda "stain" whatever surface (walls, doors, etc) if its positive?
Did LE and FBI literally "trash" the place finding things, was there a meth lab or drug paraphenalia laying around? This has me questioning - why board the windows? Why don't they want ANYONE to see in there?

OMG! If that's true about the drug lab blowing up the place has hazardous materials on it too. I've seen courts take children away from parents because they exposed the kids to home drug labs. The chemicals and especially the hazardous waste can permanently damage children. It could explain the robotic look on the younger child's face.

could also explain why all the CSI I saw going in and out over the last two days were all wearing surgical masks. I thought that was strange as well. Maybe I'm just a little too observant - lol.
