Just wondered if there were any big enough to hide a car. Maybe there’s more only locals would know about. Was there ever mining there?

Perhaps LE had it from the start, but it feels promising that they released info about the white and pink hoodie in the last few days. Specifically, the info about the hoodie came from videos, which means that teens are still coming forward with new images and content from that night. I think the person upthread is right - as it quiets down and isn't a media circus, kids will start to talk.

Also, it does free up LE officials and allows more time to investigate and to focus on interviews.

Couple of questions regarding statements I keep seeing on here.

1) Did KR actually request her mother extend her curfew? I thought she was just telling her mom what time she was leaving and that it would be a little later than planned. Also, I recall one of KR's friends saying in an interview that KR was going to tell her mother that when it came time to leave, she wasn't able to find a friend she was supposed to drive home and that's why she was past curfew. I cant find the interview at the moment but I'll keep looking.
But yeah where was it stated that KR was actually asking for an extended curfew?

Following today's presser, thought I'd update this list of LE / MSM verified facts. Please tell me to stop if this is not helpful.

1) 6pm store surveillance image of KR with description of KR's apparel (black body shirt, green dickies, vans, etc.)

2) gold necklaces KR may have had

3) two sweatshirts / hoodies: a) KR wore a pink & white one at the Posser Camp party per video; b) a black one she had

4) confirmation KR was at the Posser Camp party

5) a text to Mom from KR's phone at 11:30pm

6) final ping from KR's phone at 12:33am from party location (near water and land)

7) KR may have gone somewhere after the Posser Camp party (not to home?)

8) make, model and license plate # of KR's car (2013 Honda CRV, CA 8YUR127)

9) ram sticker is on back window of KR's car, below the windshield wiper.

Again, did I miss or misstate anything?

good post @SpideySense , maybe if dive teams are having difficulty with the murky water as they stated, maybe bringing in a commercial bottom trawler and use large net with gopro may be an option to clear Prosser Res. as the point closest to the last ping. I know this method is common in locating shipwrecks in very deep water. Just thinking out loud based on facts stated about dive difficulties with dark, drab bottom.(Pennisi Fishing Family, Monterey) AMOO

I'm not great with maps, are they very near to the party area?. Not very likely I know,but I vaguely remember locals saying that some people sometimes live wild in those woods,could anybody have been lurking in there watching the kids?.

Dickie’s has variations on green, but this was interesting.

i used to wear the mens. hers look mens cut to me but could be wrong. i think they come in same color though.

"Many of you have reached out making us aware of the missing teen in California, Kiely Rodni and if AWP can join the search. AWP left Oregon August 1st with all its gear heading to the mid west with no plans to return until the end of the month. However, with 10 days passing and no answers for Kiely’s family, we are going to cancel all of our other cases after we wrap previous commitments in Wisconsin, and will drive straight through to California to aid in the search for Kiely. Our goal will be to arrive late Friday evening."

That would be another reason to wonder about their actual size. I can see hiding something in a mining shaft. Living in it? Who knows?

The thing with hiding her Honda is someone also could have driven it, and Kiely, right out of the area. "Hey, you're in no state to drive. Let me have your keys. So and so can follow us. We will make sure you get home OK." She might have been tired, figured her mom already went to bed, etc. Possible?

Predators working together isn't new....

And with everyone going back and forth to the cars for alcohol, charging phones, this kind of scenario may also explain why no one remembers her leaving.

She wasn't reported missing until the following day.

Her mom woke up and noticed she wasn't home, right? So her friends went to the campground and then Starbucks to try and find her? That was around 8, 9 am? You already have enough drive time for her to be long gone, sadly. And even more so by the time LE was involved and searching.

I also wonder if (or how often) they might go to Reno because of the 24/7 atmosphere. It's relatively close and Reno is mostly open 24/7 due to gambling/casinos, how many moved their parties (other than going to a private home) or went to Reno to continue the fun, etc?
There was speculation that many party goers left around 1230am--not sure if true and if so, where did they all go?

Tahoe is right there. Also casinos etc but 16 years old aren’t allowed to drink or gamble at them.

Yes, I'm aware as I live here. Just was commenting on the fact she's been known to come to Reno so figured it was more likely. Not sure how the areas vary as far as under age kids getting away with being in the area tho. I know my kids--and others--know where they can go in Reno that aren't known for carding, etc.
