Here are screenshots of a couple of interesting items I found while reading the unsealed documents in the Kristin Smart case. (Tricia gave me permission to post them. ) The first SS is one excerpt. In the reports, it said that on the night of Kristin’s disappearance, Ted Munley went back to his dorm and saw Crystal and his roommate there so he went to her and Kristin’s dorm and spent the rest of the night in there with Jana Schrock.

Scott Peterson was a student at Cal Poly in 1996 as well. There were reports that it was overheard Peterson being asked about Smart and responding “Boy I hope they don’t find her in my pond.” In 2004 the Sheriffs dive team investigated two ponds, finding nothing.

Trent Buckle was a Cal Poly student in 1996 and was reported as a pimp who was involved with an organization named SLO Models. He was later convicted for murderer of his roommate. Sanger questioned Cole about a model named “Roxy” that may have worked with him.

The defense objects to the People's next witness, an ex-girlfriend of Paul's named Angie C. Judge van Rooyen allows her to be called but limits what she can testify about.

The Judge says Angie C. can share her experience going to Ruben Flores's White Ct. house and pointing detectives to the avocado grove-- where deputies say they later found "critical evidence" but says she cannot testify to Paul Flores's behavior while they were dating.

*Preliminary Hearing for both (Day 6) (@ 9am PT) - CA - Kristin Denise Smart (19) (missing May 25, 1996 while walking back to her dorm from a off campus frat party at Cal Poly, reported missing on May 26, 1996, San Luis Obispo, still missing) – *Paul Ruben Flores (19 @ time of crime/44) arrested & charged (4/13/21) & arraigned (4/15/21) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. No bond.
*Ruben Ricardo Flores (55 @ time of crime/80) arrested & charged (4/13/21) & arraigned (4/15/21) with accessory to murder after the fact. Plead not guilty. $250K bond. Bond was lower to $50K. Has posted bond (4/22/21), out of jail.

8/9/21 Monday, Day 5 of Preliminary hearing: Defense in preliminary hearing for Paul & Ruben Flores has made arrangements to transport convicted killer Scott Peterson from San Quentin to SLO to testify in the Smart case.
State witnesses: Detective Clint Cole is back on the stand. Cross Exam by defense attorney Robert Sanger. Det. Cole is questioned about Trent Buckle, Scott Peterson & Ted Munley about their involvement with the disappearance of Kristin.
The defense objects to the People's next witness, an ex-girlfriend of Paul's named Angie C. Judge van Rooyen allows her to be called but limits what she can testify about.
Det. Cole: Crystal Calvin, Jennifer Phipps, Tim Davis, and Cheryl Anderson were asked to looks at pictures of Scott and Laci Peterson. All said they did not know them, did not see them at the Crandall Way party, and did not see a Kristin interact with them. Det. Cole said that his decision to name Paul Flores as the prime suspect was influenced by inconsistencies in answers, the cadaver dog alerts & the evidence found from the 30 day wire tap. Preliminary hearing continues on 8/10/21. No court on Fridays.
