Yes, that's also true. :)

(I'm wondering how long it's going to be before CW steps in "over there" and halts the LKB discussion. And no, I didn't report them!!! :D )

Oh my! I was thinking the same thing...:D

Oh my! I was thinking the same thing...:D
It seems too that another poster has the same idea as we do. I'm just staying out of it :D and catching up on other things until lunch break is over.

Even if the defense was somehow able to make this point, how are they going to contend with the wiping of the gun which is pretty obvious...say that the investigators wiped it???????????

I think that's an excellent question and what I thought maybe they would try to float was that whereever the gun was when Lana dropped it, it was kicked to where it was found when PS struggled with LE in the foyer and had to be tasered.

However, according to Steve Renteria, criminalist, the Luminol test revealed no other blood stains on the carpet apart from what had already been found. In other words, no smear from bloody gun moving across it. So that may be a tough argument.

Oh, and there's the credible testimony of Adriano that Spector walked out of the house holding the gun. There's that.

And with them not finding anyother blood stains from the gun. PS had to lay it there.

New witness! Donna Brandelli. Forensic ID specialist, latent print specialist, for the LASD.

You know I think that's going to be almost impossible. And back to the blood spatter on his jacket, how did that get there if he was nowhere around when she "shot herself"? There's a lot of things that they're going to have to grasp at straws to convince the jury of, imo.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!

good luck imo

I have been wondering ...

Do we know anything at all about Phil's footwear at the time??/ How is it that he didn't track any blood on his feet through the house?
Am I missing something here?

thank you, Jeana :)

The witness on the stand is Donna Brandelli, a latent fingerprint expert from the LA Sheriffs Dept. She just took the stand after lunch break and is on direct.

Thanks, Jeana. Did you hear this witness, Donna Brandelli say that some mfgrs advertise that their guns RESIST fingerprints? Their target group, so to speak, is the careful criminal!! How despicable!!!

No prints on the gun.
Did she say no prints on the holster?
The door bolt---no prints

Lana's shoes---print found on sole of one shoe
