An Amber Alert has been issued for a little girl abducted on Marlboro Street in Boston Sunday morning.

Reigh Rockerfeller, 7, was last seen at 12:44 p.m.

She is described as a white female with blond hair and blue eyes. She is about 4 feet tall and weighs 50 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white sun dress, red shoes and dark sunglasses.

Police say she might be with Clark Rockerfeller, who is described as a white male in his fifties, 5 foot 6 inches tall, and about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a blue Izod shirt.

The two may be traveling in a black SUV with a Red Sox license plate and Red Sox stickers on the rear window.

Boston police believe the little girl may be in danger. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

The State of Massachusetts issued the Amber Alert Sunday evening after the girl was reportedly abducted in Boston. She is considered to be in danger.

Reigh Rockefeller 7 yrs., white female, 4', 50 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink/white sundress, red shoes, and dark sunglasses.

The suspect is Clark Rockefeller who is a white male in his fifties approximately 5'6" , 170 pounds, wearing khacki pants and a blue Izod shirt.

The suspect vehicle is a a black SUV, Tahoe or Yukon, with an unknown Massachusetts Red Sox license plate and numerous Red Sox stickers on the rear window.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boston Police Department, (617) 343-4911 or dial 911.

Appears NY refuses to pursue the situation re Amber Alert and no mention of whether NY will respect the arrest warrant issued by MA.

Reigh's mother is Sandra Boss, a highly esteemed financial specialist who has worked with, among others, NY Senator Schumer and NYC Mayor Bloomberg. She has been in MA news lately for having staved off the foreclosure of Edith Wharton's estate, The Mont.

There appears to be a question about Clark Roosevelt's background and just how he figures into the well-know Rockefeller family.

He went on to say that he didn't "want anything to do with the whole question."

Clark Rockefeller was described in the Amber Alert as being a white male in his 50s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 170 pounds with thinning blond hair, and was last seen wearing khaki pants and a blue Izod shirt.

The girl has blond hair and blue eyes, is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 50 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink and white sundress with red shoes.

"Her legal name is Reigh Storrow Boss. Again, she goes by the nickname of Snooks. Her mother calls her Snooks. She speaks with a English accent and wears glasses," Boston Police Department Deputy Thomas Lee said.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Boston police by calling 911 or District D-4 detectives at 617-343-4683. Individuals wishing to report information anonymously may do so by calling CrimeStoppers at 800-494-TIPS or texting "TIPS" to CRIME (27463)."

For those who can't watch:

He was spotted at the marina, unnamed yacht. Officials lured him back to the marina by calling and telling him that his boat was taking on water. He was arrested when he went back to the marina.
Child was located in the apartment alone.... her appearance had NOT been altered, she seemed happy to see police, appears to be unharmed.

They are working on determining who this man really is. (I heard earlier than he has numerous aliases, no social security number as far as they know, no fingerprints on file, etc.)

Thanks to the press for getting the word out, and for withholding info when officials requested it.

Her mother is very happy, and thanks everyone.

2-day process to determine where he was.

Concerned citizen (anonymous) gave them the tip. No indication that he ever left the US.

Extradition will begin in a short while (a couple days).
Mother is en route to Baltimore.

Very important to apprehend him outside, away from the child.

Very cooperative when arrested. Don't know whose apartment it is. Don't know why he chose Baltimore. on-going investigation.

Aided in any way? Remains to be seen.

No change to his appearance, as far as they know.

Did Reigh say anything? Her first words were that she was happy to see nice people.

Apartment clean? Don't know, we weren't there.

Was he plannign to get outta Dodge? We don't know.

Didn't sail there from Long Island, boat was already at the marina. Don't know how he got to Baltimore.

I am delighted she was found safe and sound! I know her mother must be so relieved!!

I never thought he would harm her, but what he did was absolutely wrong. The sad part is for the little girl. She won't get to see this man she loves and adores that she only knows as her father anymore unless it is behind bars. She doesn't care who he used to be...only who he is to her.

While he wore Brooks Brothers suits and ascots, spoke with a classic WASP accent and spread money around, he had no driver's license, no passport and no Social Security card.

He seemed eccentric to those who knew him. Rockefeller hinted to a local curator that he had a top-secret government job and later used an e-mail address for a company - Propulsion Physics - that doesn't seem to exist.

So much for loving his daughter so much he had to kidnap her. If he loved her so much he would have revealed his name, but then, if he is the fella involved in a murder or murders, they probably would have restricted him from seeing the child anyway.


It has emerged that Rockefeller gave up his fight for custody of Reigh in a divorce deal last year with his former wife, Sandra Boss, 41, who later moved to England with their daughter, rather than be forced to reveal his true identity.

Knox, That is so very sweet of you to bring those posts over! I've been Googling Linda & John and, as is always the case when googling, got waylaid by reading many irrelevant-to-this-case stories. I have about 15 years before I hit the average life span, is that too old for ADD meds? I would so love to have some time in my life where I could stay focused on one subject longer than 10 minutes. I write that so you know if I seem to disappear, it's not because I am meaning to be rude.

Anyway, It seems than that 3 people disappeared at that time- Linda, John and Christopher? Linda and John were reported missing, Christopher was realized to be missing when police were looking to question him? Or had he been questioned by police and then disappeared?
