Evidence Recovery Team collecting evidence. Crime scene is more expansive than originally thought. Many acres.Process is slow and methodical.

16 is the total count: 4 deceased (including suspect) and 12 injured. (this was not from Police Chief, but a different gentleman in LE uniform standing nearby).

So sad another mass shooting happens.
Unfortunately there's nothing governments all over the world can do. Massive shooting are not an "American thing". There are mass murderers everywhere.
Also gun control is not useful because some psycho could kill many people just using a kitchen knife.
Maybe only school and education could be a solution.

I would think a lot of people were running this way or that way.

I'm wondering if, because the shooter was local, that perhaps some festival attendees recognized him and any potential associate.

Speculation, not fact.

IMO and just me personally I think this was a lone wolf and the confused witness reports is due to chaos/rapidity/fear. Some said he was in "camo" other reports say khakis and a solid colored shirt (olive green, tan, white, I've seen multiple colors reported). This alone may lead LE to investigate a potential second suspect.
